    • Hello ALl, I bought recently (3 days ago) an Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, and I really love it. I'm pleased to flight with them. I flight on Xplane-12 last release, and I've an issue with Bonanza F33A (Aircraft from Thranda team). https://xplanereviews.com/forums/topic/18765-aircraft-review-beechcraft-bonanza-f33a-xp12-by-thranda-design/. On it, I use the G1000 panel, and when started the Aircraft, I've an Low Volts displayed on my PFD, as if the ALT button/swith wasn't activated. It's activated on the Alpha and manually also. Same thing. I've tried the same plane with my Airbus Joystick, and did'nt have this issue. So, asked me if there's any profile needed for this plane or if there's existing one, as per, when I start eh Cessna Skyhawk G1000, I didn't haVe this issue. Only with the Bonanza. I've added 2 screenshots to this topic, one with my Airbus Joystick, the other with the Honeycomb Alpha. If you need log file, please, let me know.   Thanks. Regards, Nicolas
    • Hello fellow aviation enthusiasts and virtual photographers, I'm in the planning stages of building a new PC dedicated entirely to flight simulation and, most importantly, capturing the highest quality screenshots possible. We all know the struggle of balancing ultra settings, complex add-ons, and a stable framerate to get that perfect, crisp shot. While most gaming advice focuses on high-frequency CPUs, I'm looking at a different path: a used workstation with a Xeon 24 Core 2.6GHz processor. My theory is that raw single-core speed gets you high FPS, but a massive number of cores could revolutionize the screenshot workflow. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these ideas: The "Background Beast": Imagine running MSFS on one set of cores, while another group of cores handles OBS for flawless 4K recording, a third set runs Photoshop for live edits, and a fourth manages Discord and navigates charts—all without a single stutter during the critical moment you hit the screenshot key. Is this realistic, or just a dream? Batch Processing Power: After a long virtual flight, I often have hundreds of high-resolution PNGs that need resizing, slight color correction, or format conversion. Would the 24 cores dramatically speed up this tedious batch processing in tools like Lightroom or specialized converters, turning an hour-long task into a matter of minutes? Virtualization for a Pristine Sim: Has anyone experimented with using a core-heavy CPU to run the simulator inside a dedicated virtual machine? The goal would be to have a perfectly clean, minimal OS environment solely for MSFS or X-Plane, eliminating all background noise from Windows to achieve maximum stability and performance for a screenshot session. I'm curious if anyone in this creative community is using a high-core-count Xeon not just for FPS, but as a dedicated engine for a seamless and powerful content creation pipeline. Your experiences and insights would be incredibly valuable! Happy flying, and may your frames be high and your shots be stunning.
    • Trying to update the CRJ using an new update of Aerosoft One (run as administrator), I get a download speed of 20k/sec and it fails at about 8%. It seems as if it is trying to do a differential update of about 120mb (great), fails at that - see the log (attached) then sits there unable to decide what to do. Suggestions please- ideally I don't want to do a full download if a differential one is available.     aerosoft-one.log

    • @Captain Kevin, that’s far more work than me adding waypoints manually. Concorde wasn’t obliged to stick to jet routes outside SIDs and STARs as it flew in airspace no other aircraft would occupy.   Thanks for the tips though.
    • Hi, I bought MSFS Premium Deluxe RETAIL DISCS version but I couldn't install or copy data6.cab because DVD 5 it's bad. Please provide a way of downloading DATA CAB files, in respect of the activation key. Thank you in advance. Cristin
    • Your initial question was about avoiding Russian airspace on a Tokyo to Heathrow flight. Now you've changed the parameters altogether. In any event, if you look at the chart on the right side bar, you can set it to display airways. If you scroll down, you can go to the route calculator to select which airspace and airways to avoid and which airways and tracks to include. So you could add WILYY M203 HOBEE, and you'd get a flight plan of the following:   PATSS7 PATSS FOXWD Q439 RIFLE Q167 SPDEY Y487 DOGRS Y483 DUMPR Y488 HOBOH Y485 SAUCR L453 LSIER M203 WILYY M203 HOBEE AR6 HIBAC ALYNA4   This meets your parameters of being stays over the ocean as long as possible. Keep in mind that SURFR on the ALYNA4 arrival is about 10-15 miles from land, and after you cross ALYNA, you still have at least 27 miles to go, depending on if you land north or south.
