Hi Guys:
I'm wondering what is going on at Aerosoft these days. Last time i was simming (around 10/15 years ago) the company was very responsive, and really good with assisting its customers.
I submited a support ticket three days ago about my purchase not being able to be downloaded in Aerosoft One and i notice that similar posts in this forum are unanswered. Very disappointing.
Nevertheless, here's hoping that you can help me.
Here's the Support Ticket Number:
I have tried ensuring that Windows Defender is off, the machine has no antivirus except for Windows Native as it's purely for MSFS2024.
Contrail, Simmarket, OrbX, IniManager are all working absolutely fine (i reinstalled Windows over the weekend, and installed over 90 airport sceneries with no problem), it's just Aerosoft One preventing me from Installing the Bali scenery that i purchased and have paid for.
If someone could kindly look into the issue so that I may enjoy a flight to Bali, or alternatively, refund the money if you can't make your systems work, that would be lovely.

You are Welcome Ed,
I am close to hanging my hat and allowing new and younger talent to take over. I hardly get time to sim anymore due to work - so I loosing my touch
Hello.
Okay that helped. I found that a switch on the left yoke handle was also mapped to the elevator trim. So after un-mapping the switch and making sure that only the trim wheel was mapped to the trim wheel, there was some improvement. The trim no longer jittered when I used the trim wheel. However, responsiveness of the trim wheel remains about the same. When I lined a "bump" on the trim wheel on the sim's dashboard and turned the trim wheel on the Bravo Throttle quadrant, I had to turn the Bravo Trim wheel 4-8 full revolutions to make the trim wheel in the sim move one "bump" when adjusting the nose up and 6-11 full revolutions to adjust down one bump. This was sticking my finger on the white section and spinning it slowly. When I'm in flight, that isn't possible due to the proximity of the Alpha Yoke and, if you excuse the expression, "That just ain't right."
So now that the "jitters" are gone and the wheel is reacting, how do you make it actually move at least closely to that in the sim. After a few test flights using different planes, it was the same in all planes. It simply isn't responsive enough to use in flight. How can I adjust it to be more responsive?
Again, thank you for all your help. Awaiting your response.
Looks like I found my answer here going a few years back:
I’ll check my EXE.XML files tonight.
BUT, this begs the question, why? The installer should be doing an UPDATE not INSERT. If existing entry exists don’t add another one. This implies that anytime I buy and install an Aerosoft airport it will keep INSERTING (not updating) this entry in my EXE.XML file?
Other than generating a lot of support tickets/traffic, I can’t see leaving this “as is” to be beneficial?
Rob.
I purchased OSLO for MSFS/MSFS 2024 and install to both platforms since they exist on my computer.
When i start MSFS 2024, I get two dialog/windows that pop up saying “VDGS has already started”? I only started getting these pop up messages AFTER installing OSLO.
What is VDGS?
Why is it needed?
How do I prevent these windows from popping up?
Rob.
Perfect. Thank you.
Can you check if there is no other control having switches assigned to trim functions ?
(Such as rocker switches on the yoke handles)
