Are the systems already being worked on in parallel and do you think there will be things that you could model in the 330 in p3d that you won't be able to do in MSFS (except for the WX radar)?

Yes, we have three persons coding the systems at this moment. And yes there will be a a few things more possible.

Has work started on one of the other Airbus aircraft? It was mentioned that you have two development teams available for aircraft.

Well the systems are shared between aircraft, but modeling is fully on the A330 now.  The second team is working on something else now.

Mathijs just wanted to say that the rumour of an A350 potentially has caused so much excitement in the community!

I also wanted to hopefully clarify a few things for everyone if you have the time.

  • Will the version coming be the A330-200 or A330-300 or both?
  • Is there a big developmental reason why only the Rolls Royce variant will be delivered? Would it be possible to add other engine variants as optional expansion packages for extra money, should this be a financial constraint? As this would allow those who want to simulate GE variants for example to do so.

Just keep in mind we are looking at all Airbuses, from 200 to  350. Right now we work on the 330 and are just internally discussing further projects.

300 and only the RR for now. Adding more engines might be done but that is really a lot of additional work.

When you model different engines is it just the modelling of the look or do you change the performance envelope?

Appreciate the reply Mathijs thank you! Is that extra work something that could be overcome if the community were willing to shell out extra $$ for it as an expansion (like the CRJ900/1000) or do you feel that there would not be enough demand for the payoff to be worth the investment of the team?

It is a different model, different systems, different flight model. Many weeks of work. Many thousands of Euro's.

Hello, making engine option for the 300 is already a lot of work as you said but are you also looking at the possibility of doing the 200 variant or is it of ruled out ?

Nothing is ruled out, it is just not planned at this moment. We will be happy to get one model done before looking at variants.
