Are such features also planned, possibly with an update? Yes, we feel very very strong about that. An airliner is flown with two people. Trying to fly it on your own is simply unrealistic, no matter how exquisite the aircraft is. There is no such thing as an airline pilot flying an aircraft, there is a crew flying an aircraft. It is how untested water in MSFS and not available on release. We will work on it but only release it when we have cross-platform compatibility, so PC. Xbox and Cloud.

I truly believe a generic solution will never work for more complex aircraft. Just things like Control Priority / Priority Takeover Button and handling of Dual Stick Input is massively complex and not just a matter of sending variables. You did see the cargo holds are empty, right? Tanks as well. Say 285.000 lb. Now add cargo, humans, and fuel and you can get up to 534,000 lb! That is almost double the empty aircraft. The A330 is a remarkably efficient aircraft. And believe me, you see that in the suspension. What was the weight of the aircraft you saw in your pictures?

In the book, a group of hyper-intelligent beings build a supercomputer named Deep Thought to calculate the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. After seven and a half million years, Deep Thought reveals that the answer is 42, but it cannot provide the question that led to that answer. The number has since become a popular cultural reference, often used to represent an answer that is obscure or difficult to understand. And believe me "obscure or difficult" does apply. 3

Thomas Delaney 12
will there be liveries on the marketplace for xbox like there is for the a320 a310 787 and 747. I really want to see an aer lingus (new and old) but i haven’t seen that listed anywhere and i fly on xbox so it’s not that easy to get 3rd party liveries

Do you see them as competition, or just other people trying to make MSFS a better sim? Always hard to reply to this, but general comments can be made. These comments are mine and do not reflect what Aerosoft as a company thinks. PMDG and Aerosoft are close, we always have been because we handled their boxed releases. RSR (Robert Randazzo) and I exchange emails weekly and when I run into a problem I will never hesitate to ask him for assistance. For example, when we wanted to pause on TOD we did not know how to do that and knew they had some solution so they shared that with us. We also discuss the general market, and when we meet we fight over who buys who beer. With other companies like Carenado, we have very solid connections. We have been doing business to many many years and there is mutual respect, Same with the great people at the FBW. They know they can ask me for anything and I will do all I can to help them. Super nice people. Fenix is a bit different as they came out of the left field. I never had contact with them. As they are in a very different market them where we want to be there is not as much overlap as you might think. We want to the latest generation of aircraft while they are locked to older generations, are locked on the PC platform, while we know the commercial value of Xbox and Cloud (like PMDG does). We also sell more than just one or more aircraft, we sell airports, tools, and area coverage (like the North Sea) so one of my main tasks is to make sure our A330 does not eat up all resources. It would be easy to add a lot of detail to the A330, but that would eat up FPS you need to show a fantastic airport like Brussels. Just a different mindset. Overall, most people think there is a lot of serious competition, while in reality there is not a lot. Most of the companies are just nice people we can talk to. There are outliers who have done booboos, nicked stuff, do stuff we feel is not good for the general hobby and tried to make money on freeware. They are out of this friendly circle. Basically, it does not pay for me to be in a fight with anybody. It only makes my job for Aerosoft harder. So we (I) always seek common ground. Avoid doing the same thing. We are not afraid of competing, we have got a very solid sales channel with 13 shops, marketplace etc and in the end that is what really matters. Most devs who we represent need to sell good to make the next product. What people often do not realize is that there is a whole market they do not see. We sell stuff for professional customers (from the US Navy to Thales), work on professional training tools, and sell models for movies and TV series. So if you see us do an airport that has been released by somebody else, it might be because it is just a spin-off of another project. I think in 90% of cases our version is better though! Again, these are MY thought and might not reflect those of Aerosoft. however, I love working for Aerosoft because they share these principles. We all work together to enhance this hobby. 13 2
