Sounds very interesting, Emilio. Did you watch how much RAM was consumpted with 32GB before and how much is the consumption now with 64GB? I have 32GB RAM and in EDDF the system is using about 75%. Maybe I try your solution too. Kai

Eine neue Treiberversion des VDGS ist verfügbar. Installiert und Problem ist behoben. Ich habe auch gesehen, das besagte xml-Datei das heutige Datum trägt😉! Danke an das Team! Kai

Ich habe mehrere Airports gecheckt: bei z.B. EBBR, EDDK, ENGM oder EDDM: bei allen Airports funktioniert die Erkennung des Airports via shift+v. Nur bei EDDF nicht. Vielleicht ist in der Datei aerosoft_eddf.xml im Ordner community\aerosoft-vdgs-driver\airports ein Fehler eingebaut? I've checked some more airports like EBBR,EDDK, ENGM or EDDDM: all of them the airport detection via shift+v works without any problems, only EDDF doesn't. Maybe the xml-file in community\aerosoft-vdgs-driver\airports is corrupted? Kai

Hallo, wenn ich mit shift links + v das VDGS-Menü, wie gewohnt, öffne, wird mir bei EDDF kein Airport angezeigt. IN EDDB z.B. dagegen ja. Ich habe den Airport aktualisiert und in ASOne die AS VDGS, was der letzte Punkt ist, beim Konfigurieren aktiviert. Habe ich etwas übersehen? Was mich wundert: im GSX-Menü unter appdata\roaming usw. sind beide EDDF-relevanten Dateien mit 0kb hinterlegt, siehe screenshot. Aber wenn ich sie mit den Dateien aus dem installierten EDDF-Ordner (Full Aerosoft VDGS) austausche, ändert sich auch nichts. Was muss ich tun? Ich hänge auch die log-Datei aus dem VDGS-Ordner in community an. Kai aerosoft-vdgs-driver-log.log

Everybody with a bad performance should try EDDF with an empty comunityfolder, where the symlink of EDDF is present only and report back afterwards.

Sorry for posting here, Mathijs. No, your staement is not clear;at least for me; otherwise I wouldn't have asked. For me as a regular customer, with a P3D academic license, is it possible and allowed to use a professional version of an addon (which offers maybe more features)? Because you're speaking of two licenses of the same addon. Or simply asked: will there exist two versions ( a lite one with less features and a full featured version) of the same addon for V4 and I can decide which one I want to buy/use ? Maybe I'm a little bit stupid today, that's why I ask!

hello Mathijs and Winfried, I would be glad about a clear statement that the new Pro-Line of AddOns for P3Dv4 is dedicated for all P3D-users (incl. academic) (or isn't it?) and not only for pro-users. I believe that academic users are as welcome like the pro-users to LM. I'm afraid the thread about these upcoming pro-Versions of addons is formulated mistakable or do I understand it right that only users owning a P3Dv4- Pro-version are eligble using these new productline for P3Dv4? mfg Kai

hallo, ich hoffe, das Thema ist nicht schon irgendwo hier angesprochen worden und es heißt dann: Suchfunktion.. Ich habe nämlich nichts gefunden. Also: ist es geplant, AES auch für Prepar3D zu entwickeln, läuft es vielleicht sogar schon dort oder wenn nicht, kann man es zum Laufen bringen? Ich weiß, FSX-dll's laufen nicht alle in P3D. danke für die Info Oliver. Ist eigentlich der Umfang der zukünftigen GAP-1-Box bekannt? In der alten Version waren es zehn Airports, glaube ich. Soviel werden es jetzt ja eh nicht werden, aber ich konnte nirgends finden, welche Ports für die Box avisiert sind. mfg Kai

hallo, ich habe heute auf der Homepage die neue Version 1.20 von Madeira X gesehen und mich mal etwas näher in den Text darunter vertieft. Dort entdeckte ich den Hinweis auf den Bezug eines Vollupdates bei Einsendung der CD Wonderful Madeira 2004. Da fiel mir ein, das ich das im FS9 auch hatte. Also suchte ich nach der CD, konnte sie aber nicht finden und endeckte den Kauf im Onlineshop damals. Ein Anruf bei Aerosoft ergab allerdings, das für downloads das Updateangebot nicht gelten würde. Ist das wirklich so? Ich müsste ja nicht die Box bekommen, ein vergünstigter Download der neuen Version wäre ja auch ausreichend. Ich habe recht viele Addons im Laufe der Jahre online bei AS gekauft. Das wäre aber echt schade, aufgrund dessen nun nicht in den Upgradegenuss zu kommen; auch, wenn es CD-Upgrade heißt. Geld ist Geld, ob so oder so, finde ich. Es wäre nett, wenn sich jemand von Aerosoft mit mir diesbezüglich in Verbindung setzen würde. mfg Kai
