  1. And the axis is assigned to the throttle in the FSX menu?
  2. Hello Gibaba, The throttle detents don't work with F-keys because of the FADEC module. So you need a joystick that has an axis that you can assign to the throttle.
  3. Awesome paint!! Thanks for this and keep em coming
  4. You can't operate the throttles with the keyboard. The F keys don´t work with the FADEC module. you need at least one axis
  5. Nothing wrong with that mate.
  6. Hi mate, Somehow your the first person that makes wingflex sound dirty in a fetish kind of way
  7. This is one of the things we noticed during testing, but didn't have an answer for yet.Seems to be deep inside FSX. It is something Aerosoft will keep looking into.
  8. Virtual cockpit is the only view, besides the preset views ("a" or shift-a)
  9. Did you keep VAPP speeds as computed in MCDU?
  10. What you can do is create a flight plan with a program like fsbuild or similar, convert is to FSX (PLN) and load it.
  11. Can you remove the fsuipc entry and try direct from FSX axes settings? I use a CH yoke (I know shouldn't with an airbus) and it works without...
  12. you mean you assigned it AC specific in FSUICP? If so, did you calibrate without reverse zones?
  13. it's explained here http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=37728 And costumers can download and upload here http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=31
  14. They'll be released, don't know when exactly, but you can read it here http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=37728 Users repaints can also be uploaded and downloaded here http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=31 and that's where you hopefully will see a lot of them soon.
  15. First off, don't mark him down for expressing his concerns. I can understand your worries regarding remarks made, and I don't really understand them myself. I don't because the product was in beta when the remarks were made and therefore not accurate any more. It created a lot of confusion that could have been avoided, and I - this is on personal title, not Aerosoft - would have preferred it if these things would have been addressed in the forum it belongs: the beta forum where bugs are reported. Concerning the ctd's I haven't had any. I just finished another flight with RC1, and that's not the one in store tomorrow, but the one before that, and I can only tell you it is fun to fly. Aerosoft - however - never made it a secret that some testers did have ctd. Under certain conditions with crash detection on. Aerosoft also stated that it is something deep inside FSX, and that Aersosoft will continue to find out what it is. Mathijs even adressed costumers if they might have ideas. The forum thread it all was on is invisible right now, but it does mention the things Aersosoft is going to solve with SP1. Now it is your good right to wait, you can spend your money only once, but I am sure this bus will proof itself in the end.
  16. Hi James, I had similar once. Go to setup tool, dropdown menu ultimate terrain and the go to the "restore ultimate terrain to initial settings" that did the trick. Otherwise probably a reinstall.
  17. What forum and who posted? Btw, rubbish!! *edit* At this moment testers are still working to fine tune the bus for release. Fact is bugs will show their ugly head no matter how long tests are being conducted, but what is stated here is rubbish. The "unclickable" mentioned was - and I emphasize WAS - due to a view spot interfering with the headrest. (view was a bit to far back) Solved as we speak.
  18. My guess; one of the ORBX airports. Don't know which, but if you look in one of his posts you'll read he uses almost exclusively ORBX sceneries for his screens and looking at the pics, I understand why...
  19. Since it seems to be taken over by Pilots vs ATC I'll throw in a real conversation between the two in real life. The controller working a busy pattern told the 737 on downwind to make a three-sixty--do a complete circle, a move normally used to provide spacing between aircraft. The pilot of the 737 complained, "Don't you know it costs us two thousand dollars to make even a one-eighty in this airplane?" Without missing a beat the controller replied, "Roger, give me four thousand dollars' worth." And on that bombshell; back to topic maybe?
  20. *this contains spoilers* Downloaded the video, and sat down to be overwhelmed. I see an ocean, or a lake. A voice over tells me: "Since I was a child, I dreamed I could fly" aeroplane crosses screen, music swells, fade out. I couldn't help laughing. Instead of this clip they'd better wait a bit and come up with a proper trailer because this was 49 seconds of nothing..... For me it is to early for conclusions, to vague to get exited. They're going to do something with flying. Noticed in the credits: game for windows live... Video starts again: I see and ocean, or a lake. I hear the sound of an aeroplane swelling. A voice over telling me. "Since I was a costumer, I dreamed of decent fps" aeroplane stutters through my screen, fade out. (would be a nice contest: who can do that clip better, funnier, sillier)
