  1. I wish that is the real Aerosoft Twin Otter, then this fleet would be complete (Livery Required wink wink)

  2. I'm picking 17 December for release. Mathijs teased it being not long before Christmas, and 17 December (1903 if you need to google it) is kind of an important date for aviation. More than happy to be proven wrong though, credit card locked and loaded and holding short ... :-)

  4. I don’t really care what you say about PMDG. I just care that you are high jacking this thread. Surely there is a PMDG forum somewhere that you can vent you feelings about them. But not here Please!

  5. I'd suggest you go to the PMDG forums and look before making any comments like this against a top developer with 25 years because it's a well known issue affect 10% of users that PMDG nor MS know what's causing it or had the issues whilst testing

  6. As I understood Mathijs, Aerosoft will provide the paint kit, so that very quickly a lot of liveries will be available on the well-known websites.

  13. No worries, I spend a lot of time round the PMDG forum and I know from a recent interview they are trying to pull out all the stops for MSFS, I think the xbox issue is just an unfortunate teething issue and as you say they'll have it fixed ASAP

  14. PMDG is a very reliable company and I'm sure they did proper testing. So before you start complaining abou them, you should maybe read this: https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/pmdg-dc-6-cloudmaster-forum/153473-24nov21-xbox-users-important-update-and-trouble-shooting-process And this ends the discussion about products from our friends at PMDG.

  17. If you bring up the fuel policy editor Ray the various options are labelled for US, Australia and Russia in addition to EU and ICAO. In addition to the US Domestic and International Flag options Gary McGinnis produced a guide for Class II planning and associated fuel policies available here As noted in Otto's link the carrier will use the policies of the governing authority where the aircraft is registered. In other areas where you do not have defined policies ICAO could be used.

  20. Please, this thread is about the Twin Otter only, not a place to ask about or hope for supplementary add-ons. Here's where you should ask for other things.

  21. There are multiple threads on this issue and all that has ever been mentioned is that "it has been added to the database". So presumably on some happy day in the future this will be fixed, but I would not hold my breath since it has been present and known about since release.

  24. Honestly, people always think this is a cutthroat business, but nothing could be further from the truth. Just check whose product we sold in box in the last ten years. Or check whose products we now sell in our shop. We really miss the shows and events where we meet and drink beer. Certainly with our non European friends it has been a loooong time and that makes things hard. In this business we are used to online contacts and meetings, but the fact we just release Simple Traffic and it is a huge success and I have not been able to meet Jeff (the developer) is weird. Even weirder, I hired two modelers (in Germany!) that we have not seen yet. A whole new world, would never have happened in 2019. It is really conflicting. COVID that caused people to stay at home was without a doubt a huge boost to our company. So many people that had not looked at Flight Simulator for many years got back in the hobby. Sales have been seriously good even when we had to make the transition to the new sim, normally a painful period. But like every company we had to make serious changes, more people working from home (already 50% of us worked from home), we had to start invent coms methods. I think our size (a company between 50 and 100 people) helped a lot. If things got out of hand we could still pick up the phone and shout at each other.

  25. You can use the free LINDA program and the free module I developed for the CRJ here to get your Saitek switch panel working: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/610130-aerosoft-crj-for-msfs-v10/ I will work on adding the functionality for the radio and autopilot panels.

  26. Hi Toniet70, We will be happy to help, but you just need to give some feedback on the questions asked. The CRJ uses the Lvars to access several parameters, requiring therefore an external interface utility as Logitech hasn't developped any CRJ specific driver. However, here are two videos that can help you. These are made by our fellow simmer, Les O'Reilly : Best regards.

  27. Btw, this is one of the best vids on YT about the Twin Otter: They have to heat up the plane to get the radios to work.....

  28. I got ready to be able to maneuver the Twotter on the water. My Logitek gamepad features two side-by-side controllers. I mapped them each as follows: - lever forwards: increase power, - lever backwards: decrease power. Once the backing and turning maneuvers are finished, I then use my main joystick which takes control of the engines. I succesfully tested that on the B350i. Now all I need is the ... Twinn Otter! This is the only device that I will 100% "learn" in FS2020!

  29. I've been lurking this thread since day 1. I just wanted to say, I started on Flight Sim 95. I've grown up to get my pilot's license, an atc job, and finally the funds to build a kickass computer, and this will be my first payware airplane. Not exactly a riveting story, but I'm just excited and wanted to let you guys know. Very much looking forward to this.

  33. meurkel, from the header in the Products Preview Page: Please do not ask for release dates because if we can say we would have posted it here and if we do not know we can't say. Any dates that are given should be seen as indications and not promises. Software development isn't a linear process, and resources are liable to be temporarily diverted to other projects, so It's unlikely you'll see anything public until very shortly before release if then.

  34. 1. The update will probably publish when it's ready. Knowing when that will be is of zero consequence to anyone. It won't make it faster; it won't make it slower. It will however cause grief and angst when it is 30 seconds later than announced. @steku 2. I have zero issues with AAO scripts. This is like the 3rd or 4th time that you attempt to post this is what is very easily shown as the WRONG area and clear hijack. This could be anything from the sim update to the latest version of AAO to the CRJ. If you look around in the correct forum you will find a potential fix for this and I will make it easy for you by copying and pasting it below, all credit to the original post author. For the life of me I cannot figure out why people cannot use the tools available to them. Things like the search function on this forum, Google, etc. If you can't do those simple things, when the update is planned to be released is not going to do you any good, or when it is released, it won't do you any good. Here it is on a silver platter:
