  1. Hm….Aerosoft will never guarantee for such an old product that it will run in v4/v5. It might run, no idea. As mentioned, fake fsx.exe in a new blank folder. Then you get all files and can package them with add-on.xml That you can then register in the P3D add-on.cfg All own risk. But compared to the IRL airport, that scenery is very, very outdated. At avsim library is a freeware Maldives main airport designed for P3D.

  3. Further to this I highly recommend looking into ‘Pushback Helper’ on flightsim.to. This allows you to operate all ground services independently of using the ATC panel in MSFS. Very useful when flying on VATSIM.

  4. To be honest, at first I was not really interested in the CRJ. But I really wanted to try it, just like a test, a test to know about my real feeling toward this new MSFS2020. I left the sim weeks ago because of so many performances issues with the default liners. So I bought the CRJ... Launched the sim... Learn everything I need to learn about the plane to fly it the best I could. And it was like a dream. Of course there are some little bugs here and there. But really not so bad for me since I didn't know anything about the CRJ before yesterday. But, the performance

  5. Hey Joe The CRJ came with a current AIRAC at release. However, meanwhile its outdated. MSFS NavData (by Navblue) is separate to the CRJ Navdata. If you want to update the CRJ AIRAC, you have two options: 1. Aerosoft Navdata 2. Navigraph Navdata both are optionally available with an app that also provides current charts of airports, SID/STARs and enroute etc. Having tried both, i have to say that Navigraph is the more popular and feature-rich option. Id recommend a subscription for both, the AIRAC and charts. It also comes with an app that lets you track yo

  9. As the CRJ 900 is longer and heavier you just can fly him into the ground without so many corrections in pitch only a short "pull" before touchdown. The crj was lighter and you needed to break the descent rate before touchdown more active than on CRJ900 it has a higher pitch on landing. The shocks on main gear felt also harder so the landing technique was more "active" and difficult than CRJ 900 to make a smooth landing, in my opinion

  14. Hallo Horst, danke für die Unterstützung, aber der Installer ( Link von dir ) sieht genauso aus, wie der, den ich habe. Dann wird es wohl an den WIN / MAC Versionen liegen, die X-Plane bereit hält. Ergo, wir lassen den Turm dort wo er ist. Eventuell kann man noch ein Verkehrszeichen davor setzen. Somit hätte man zumindest auf eine Gefahr hingewiesen 😀 Danke und Gruß / Micha

  18. Aerosoft said they had a fix. When will it be released waited now for 4 month. They have my money but I do not have a working aircraft? I believe this will be the last purchase from Aerosoft I am writing it off as a bad decision. Using the CRJ 4 with the mod. Works like a charm.

  20. Should not matter for an ILS as it has no 360 degree directional component like a VOR. You can set the course perpendicular and still fly the localizer just fine.

  21. These are fabulous...too bad we don't have a great 3rd party DAL hub to fly them into/out of! KATL is pretty good, so is Asobo's KSEA but we need KMSP, KSLC, KDTW, and we especially need KBOS (cannot wait for FlyTampa's). So far, developers have given us some great UAL hubs, and AAL are getting better, but short for DAL for sure. Great looking bird though! 👍

  24. This is starting to look like an issue with the FADEC. Every other plane is fine for me too including WT CJ4 and FBW A32NX. Both those hobbyist teams are way ahead of Aeorosoft with their custom autopilot, custom FMS, custom LNAV, custom VNAV, custom FADEC and custom ILS it would appear. At his point Aerosoft needs external help instead of releasing a CRJ 900/1000 that predictably will have the same problems.

  25. As I stated yesterday there is a “ready to taxi” button on the EFD. And there is also the possibility to save and reload FMS settings. Sorry I can’t help with the wind settings or the tutorial as I’ve never done that. But I’m happy to repost the pics again for saving and loading FMS data.

  29. Goodday, I have exactly the same behaviour in my sim (P3d/v4.5 with latest HF) as desrcribed above. Can someone tell me if this is indeed FPS related or can it be something else....... Many thanks for clarification

  30. My only issue right now is that the reverse thrust not always engages, though it seems to be related to the sim performance (FPS). On an airport with less "heavy" objects with >30fps, no issues at all, reverse always engages. On heavier sceneries or areas (MK Lisbon - my home airport, ORBX Chicago area) with 17-22fps, if I try to engage it while taxiing out it engaged, but after a circuit near the airport, when landing again, it doesn't engage, although the levers on the cockpit sit half way between idle rev and full rev, though the rev unlockers on the cockpit levers stay down 🤔

  35. Map the Axis using AAO/FSUIPC or Spad.Next and none of this is a problem... Plus then you can access LVARs and control the autopilot and all other controls/switches in the plane... I have zero issues with controls and can enjoy some great flights including doing KDEN to KSAN at FL380.... Also no Spoiler/flap phantom events... Even let the sim sit in the ESC menu for 12 hours a few days ago just to see if it would trigger the issue.. nope..

  36. It's not for a single payware ... the automatic Profile switching based on Aircraft alone is worth the price of entry... There are plenty of events even for those that you mention that require access to LVARs or H:EVENTs to control them... especially as they are adding more depth to their custom Autopilot they can't use the standard events....
