When testing the Sierra TPM module via joy.cpl under Windows i am able to see and calibrate Axis Y and Axis Z but i don't get any response on Axis X. Flaps work, Parking brake etc. It is just the X-Axis (Throttle). I changed the USB cable to the original one delivered and i have no Hub between USB port and the Sierra TPM. I changed the USB Port at my Computer. Can this be really a physical hardware defect? I am puzzled..

Naja, auf AGL bezieht sich das nur teilweise.   Eine "height" bezieht sich immer auf die Höhe über Grund, also bei Decision Height sowie Minimum Descent Height.   Die ebenfalls im verlinkten Manual erwähnte "Altitude" ist in der Fliegerei immer die Höhe über NN auf Basis des auf Meereshöhe reduzierten Luftdrucks. Die Decision Altitude und Minimum Descent Altitude beziehen sich also auf NN, nicht auf AGL.   Der auf Meereshöhe reduzierte Luftdruck wird in der Fliegerei unterhalb von Transition Level (im Sinkflug) und Transition Altitude (Steigflug) benutzt und heißt "QNH". Möglicherweise meint PH1973 das mit dem "hPa-Wert". Um die Verwirrung noch größer zu machen, zeigt der Screenshot eine QNH-Eingabe aber in inHg, nicht in hPa. Das lässt sich aber in der Realität in praktisch allen Maschinen umstellen; bestimmt auch beim Airbus.

Bei Toliss-Airbus A319, A320, A321 und A340 werden auf der FinalApproach-Seite entweder die decision height (DH) oder die Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA) zur Entscheidung Landung fortsetzen oder GoAround  eingestellt. Diese Höhen können je nach Airport unterschiedlich sein. Sie haben aber nichts mit der Höhe des Airports zu tun, sondern bedeuten die Anflughöhe über Grund (Above Ground Level).    Beim Toliss A330 sieht es etwas abweichend aus (passt auch nicht zum Text im Manual Tutorial Flight), die hier im Feld 'Radio  ' angegebene Höhe ist wohl hier auch die Entscheidungshöhe Landung oder GoAround ?? :   Hier noch ein Link aus Wikipedia zum Thema:  https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar-Altimeter

Hi,   When using Simwings Menorca (LEMH) in MSFS 2024, I've noticed that the ILS localizer is offset on both runways.   This only seems to happen when using an aircraft that is using the in-sim navigation database. Aircraft I've tried so far include the FlightFX Citation X and the A2A Comanche. I've tried using both the default MSFS navigation data and the Navigraph replacement of the in-sim navigation data. The result is the same.   It doesn't seem to affect most add-on aircraft that have their own navigation data (i.e., Fenix Airbus, PMDG 737 etc.). Weirdly, it does seem to affect the iniBuilds A350 with its Navigraph database installed.   Uninstalling the Simwings Menorca scenery and using the default airport instead fixes the issue.   Am I doing something wrong, or does it require a fix?

Hello, my Honeycomb Alpha Lite yoke which I purchased directly from the Honeycomb shop is experiencing centering issues. It is not only in flight simulators, but also in joy.cpl. The yoke is offset either to the left or right, depending on the recently used side. However, opposite inputs correct this. Yoke Issue.mp4    

Ja, ich kenne mich mit einem Airbus zwar nicht aus, das da steht doch sicherlich die Minimum Descent Altitude oder die Decision Altitude? "Final" bezieht sich doch nicht auf den Flughafen, oder? Wenn wenn, wäre es dann die Höhe beim Airport Reference Point oder bei der Runway Threshold? 

When attempting to remove the throttles out of reverse in MSFS2024 (only), the #2 axis does not come out of the reverse detent unless manually removed by the mouse in game. I've checked my controls and they seem to be aligning in game, so i'm not sure what the issue is. This also happened with the iFly 737-8 MAX and other aircraft in MSFS2024. Ein Hallo an alle Hardware-Spezialisten, Frage: Ist es Sinnvoll meine CPU i7-9700K (ohne Hyper-Threading) gegen den I9-9900K (mit Hyper-Threading) zu tauschen?   Mein Board ist ein MSI Z390A Pro Grafikkarte Nvidia RTX -4060 Ti 32 GB DDR4 Speicher  Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 1 TB   Mir kam die Idee weil XP12.4 ja nun auch mehrere Kerne unterstützt. Was bringt mir die  Hyper-Threading Funktion? Was ist Eure Meinung dazu?   Gruß Ludger
