Aerosoft Flight Calculator

It´s not working here - win7 64bits + fsx accel + latest registered fsuipc . Installed it in a different folder E:\FSX\Aerosoft\Calculator with admin rights.

Any ideias??? Thanks!

Hi,

Thank a lot for this gift.

That seems to be a good product but i don't succeed in running it on my computer : FSX, W7/64, FSUIPC 4.75.1a.

So, need some help if possible to use it.

Jacky

runs perfect on my PCs with win7 64 bit. Try to turn off UAC (user account control).

Also works perfect on my 2nd PC (win7 64 bit) connect via FSUIPC and WideFS to FSX,

It does work in Win7 both versions, been using it for years. Yes, the power button switches it Off...

To get the calculator work in Win 7, switch off UAC, then run the calculator once. After this UAC can be switched on again and the calculator will still work.

... but perhaps it was just the reboot which fixed the problem :confused_s:

Roland

I do think it was a reboot that got it to work for me as well. I turned on my PC this morning and it now works. I have UAC turned off permanently, so that wasn't the issue for me.

Thanks guys for the help :cheers_s:

It happens exactly the same with me! I hope someone will know why, otherwise I will not be able to benefit from this kind offer from Aerosoft.

Happy New Year!

Domingos

P.S.: I am running FS, under XP, in full screen

Or install it anywhere but the dreaded C:\Program Files (x86) folder.

I'll add my vote of thanks too :bow_down2_s: ... let's hope Aerosoft weathers the EU economic gloom!

Thanks for all the kind words.

And don't worry about Aerosoft, while we have to adapt to a changing market we are simply doing very well.

There is a little inaccuracy in length calculations; 1 nm equals 1852 m, not 1853,22.

But then ...

:-)

You're right, according to SI (Le Système internationale d'unités). More on this can be found at the BIPM (engish and french) and PTB (german)

Question to follow. The following is from the original gift (Read Second) thread...

"...A license for FSUIPC is included in the product so you will not have to buy a separate license for FSUIPC.

Please note that FSUIPC is NOT installed with this product..."

So My Question is, Do I need to manually register FSUIPC and FSUIPC4 sometime, somehow? Because they still say they are unregistered, and I'd like to get the most out of this product (Flight Calculator) if at all possible. Or am I already getting the most out of it with unregistered versions of FSUIPC and FSUIPC4? I'm confused.

Hello Scott,

Your FSUIPC will still be unregistered if you have not purchased a license from the FSUIPC developer, all it means is that Aerosoft have paid for a special key that allows it to use certain parts that would otherwise need you to have purchased a license. A lot of companies do this if they need to get data transfer between there product and the Flight Simulator in question via FSUIPC.
