Hallo,

am 18.8. habe ich mir aus dem MS Store den FS2020 geholt. Bei der Installation hat scheinbar auch alles geklappt. Ich kam nach einigen Stunden ins Menü, jedoch konnte ich die Flugschule nicht machen, jeder Kurs war nicht anklickbar. Auch der Store im Game war nicht anklickbar. Ebenfalls, wenn ich mir einen Flugplatz auf der Weltkarte aussuchte und auf "Fliegen" klickte passierte nichts.

Bei einem Neustart wurde mir angezeigt, dass ich noch 3GB updaten soll, doch dies machte er nie.

 

Darauf habe ich das Spiel deinstalliert und versuche es neu zu installieren. Der 1. Part funktioniert noch, doch sobald ich auf den Updatebildschirm komme und auf Update für die 95GB klicke, lädt er über Stunden nichts runter.

Ganz wichtig:
- Windows 10 muss 100% aktuell sein

- Grafiktreiber aktualisieren

- die MS Store App starten, mit deinem MS Account anmelden und all angebotenen Updates installieren

And even more important, make sure all Xbox software is up to date. That is done via the MS Store app.

 

Do I need the XBox Software to install the Flight Simulator?

 

Or is it depending what version I buy Digital- or DVD-Version?

 

Yes, the Xbox is the protection and the way the software is managed. All Microsofts games work the same way.

So, if I buy the download version I need a

 

1. Microsoft Account

2. X-Box Software

 

anything else?

You will be guided through all of that when you buy. You do not need to install anything before. I do suggest this though: 

 

Hi,

 

sometimes it helps to reset the the app

 

Right click on the flightsim icon ->  more (mehr) - app properties (Einstellungen) - Reset (zurücksetzten)

 

By the next start , FSIM check his files and download the rest .

 

This helps in my case.

I also had to create an X-Box Live account. At the start of the simulator it asks you to sign in into X-Box Live otherwise it wouldn't continue. If you don't have an X-Box Live account yet, you can create one right there using your Microsoft Account credentials.
