Do you remember at/near which airport this happened?  When working on another report, I came across an undocumented chart type which name was longer than the space I reserved for it. Yours might be the same issue (at least description and error code point into the same direction), so I would like to check the airport data for this.

I had a CTD when selecting charts. I use Navigraph Charts. Flight was from KGLA to KBGR. I had the new update installed

First I was able to select charts, then opened the LGA5 SID KLGA. All went well. Then in the air, I wanted to open KBGR, but as soon as selecting KBGR on the Airports Tab, the sim froze.

I'm sorry that this happens. We only got positive replies from testing, so I really thought this would be fixed.

I got some new software from Navigraph today. I will implement it tomorrow and hope that this will help to fix this issue. I will also, of course, check my half of the implementation again.

Just to help.  I had the same issue with a CTD at KGRR Landing 17. In the EFB, I selected "Nearest Airports" and KGRR after landing and exiting on the hi-speed at Bravo. Flight was fine, did not load a flight plan so the ORIG DEST airports were not loaded.  that is why I selected Nearest Airports

I am using:

Navigraph Charts

latest Patch to the CRJ Prof

P3D V4.5 HF2

AS 2016

REX Environment Force

ORBX Vector, Global, trees etc

Loving the plane - thanks for working through the bugs.

Just got a CTD here.  KHIO to KABQ, tried to select the LOWBO3 STAR chart somewhere between the TCH and RSK VORTACs.

Pulling up the LOWBO3 chart worked fine before I took off.  Problem seems to manifest after the simulation has been running for a while.  I was about 1:10 into my flight.

CTD on flight from CYFC to CYUL. Crash occurred mid-flight prompted by selection of approach chart. P3D v4.5 hotfix 2, paled out, hung and then quit. Navigraph charts used.

I just got an email from Navigraph telling me that a Navigraph Charts session expires one hour. That's the reason why you get all those crashes. I also got new software from them which will sort the problem. I'm going to implement this into the CRJ now.

Again, I'm terribly sorry that this happened. Unfortunately I couldn't avoid it because I simply didn't know. Most of my test flights are shorter than one hour, so I didn't come across the problem myself.

I'm closing this thread now and will get you guys a new version asap.
