  1. Just saying... about people not getting back... I provided what I'm sure the solution within minutes of him posting, and I did not get back so much as a hello, go to hell, thank you, or any type of acknowledgment.  Pot is definitely calling the kettle black.

  2. It's been several years, but I used to perform support here.  I'm not sure why your ticket is still open, but I'm willing to believe it's just an oversight, or someone started to work on it and got sick, or something.  The reason I say this is that Aerosoft support has long been some of the best in the flight sim community.

While you await a tech support specialist, I'm happy to give you a hand.  Note that I no longer have P3D installed.

First, be sure that you're running P3D "As Admin".  Any other software that you run alongside the simulator (such as VPilot, ect.) will also have to be run "As Admin".

Given what you've already tried (some of which was my advice from back in the day), I'm thinking that you either have another product that is interfering with the lights, had a past product that changed the default light textures that the Airbus Professional uses (we've seen that before, and most quality developers know to never change default textures but sadly some still did so).  The latter is my guess, and so given that another product has changed your default P3D light textures there is only one fix, to repair P3D.  Again, this is NOT related to the Airbus product, it is simply that another product has interfered with the default lighting textures used by P3D and the Airbus.  This could have been a freeware or payware product, there is no way for us to know.

I am not able to access the Lockheed P3D forum right now, but that is where you will find how to Repair your P3D installation. Of course I'm not sitting in front of your computer and haven't seen everything you have, but I believe that should resolve your issues.

    Best wishes!

  3. Interesting. Both aircraft installed and worked terrific for me and a great many others that I know personally, and I used both aircraft for hundreds of hours before I switched to MSFS.  Not only that, but they worked with 100+ addons I had in P3Dv4 and P3Dv5.

It might be in your interest to ask for tech support, the team here is pretty darned awesome!  If you do that, I recommend providing some detailed system specs, what other complex addons you have that are working and if you had any issues with other complex addons. I would also add if you're running any type of computer security, if you disabled the security during the install process, if you've excluded the various flight sim installation folders from security scans, and if you're running P3D "As Admin".

My very best wishes to you!

    We can have both.

In multiple highly complex planes already released for MSFS, a cabin is included and can be disabled on-the-fly for users who have performance issues.

MSFS unlocks a lot of performance potential, I say push it to its max.

Well, I dunno. I've worked development and test teams on some of the finest Flight Sim aircraft over the past 25 years, including here, the Leonardo Maddog, and Majestic Dash 8 Q400.  I'm very familiar with MSFS, thank you.  This issue is just not what you're thinking it is, but I'm confident I won't change your mind.  If you want a Passenger Simulator, then you aren't alone. Maybe some day someone will make it.  Lord knows we've joked around about it for over 2 decades.

My very best to you my friend.

    would be cool

Interesting.  From my perspective, I'd much rather have a company foregoe non-operational parts of the the aircraft and give a higher level of fidelity to the operational parts.   After all, there is not an unlimited about of processor (CPU/GPU) bandwidth.

  6. As I posted in the thread you referenced, it's a bug with that airport. I filed a bug report back when I was part of the team but apparently it was never resolved before the project development ended.  I would forget about using the secondary flightplan and delete the waypoints as I referred to in your referenced thread.

FYI:  The real aircraft has a different page for doing this which is not modeled in the Aerosoft version.

Sorry I could not be of more help, if I ever get P3D booted back up I'll do my best to look at this, but I'm heavily engaged in another flight sim project for the US Navy/Lockheed Martin and another flight sim developer and along with a heavily possibility of going on a transplant list I simply don't have much time these days.

    Best wishes.

  7. There is no IAE issue that I'm aware of (reported by the test team or customers), and I was on the team from the beginning and handled tech support.

Weight and balance is of course critical (as you know), and it's very helpful to use the loadout tools available.  One thing is that the IAE engines are not quite as robust as the CFM engines as far as inital thrust (also in real life), but I don't think that is a factor here.

    Best wishes!

There is no 90 degree turns...  There are turns at the edges of the images... that had nothing to do with the conversation of it drifting and hunting along a course in the real world....

I did not claim that...  so no it is not a fair question ... it is trying to ignore the data point being that the plane is sending out it's Heading Data as part of the ADS-B...  So in the Middle Leg of those 3 Legs... you see that the plane goes left and right of the center track....  and the Data points is there to show that.

ADS-B updates are Done 1 per second.  Flight aware data posts are anywhere from 6-30 seconds depending on length of flight and the need to update the changes...

Again I will point out that the purpose was to show that as it is flying "down" that line the  heading is changing and the positions reports are to the Left and right of track.....  So yes the point is that the Real life CRJ is flying an LNAV course and it is not "spot on" straight lines...

We have a wide variety of people here from different backgrounds and knowledge levels.  What is important is to remain educational in our posts without taking things personally or feeling challenged by someone, and even if we are a well meaning, educational reponse may difuse things and return everything back to a status quo. It doesn't always work, but it works enought to keep things educational and on an even keel.

I think hope you saw my explanation of what the person was seeing (graphically there was indeed what APPEARED to be a 90 degree turn).  The rest of what you posted above was my explaination.  I wasn't as specific as I could have been because I wanted to avoid the appearance of acting above the other person.  Just an easy explaination that hopefully made sense to him and in support of what you had said.  Why you directed you post back at me has me a bit mystified, but not bothered by it.

    My best wishes to you.

so “dude” where in your ads data do you see 90 degree turns  like on you initial picture ??

    It's a fair question.

We would need to see the time stamp of the data.  While ADS-B can output every second (not taking into account inherent system latency onboard the aircraft), I doubt that Flight Aware is capable to providing 1 second position updates on aircraft - I wouldn't think their system simply can not handle that for the hundreds or few thousand aircraft they report positions on.  If this is the case, then that's why we sometimes see more acute angles reported.  I wasn't able to dig up flight awares positional update frequency, but I'm fairly certain I'm correct about this.

I hope this is at least a little helpful.

    My very best wishes.

Hey Dave, seeing as how you were on your phone in this reply, you probably meant "where you" instead of "shereuou" so it should read, "I don't see any posts where you explained the issues you had."

Yeah, I must have fat fingered it... plus I was following Mathijs rules and drinking a bottle of wine!  LOL!

I just uninstalled my Airbus Bundle with a319 thru a320.  I am taking the hit on a purchase that I bought few months ago.  Tired of flying and crashing to desktop.  WHAT A PIECE OF IN SHIT PROGRAM.  NEVER ISSUES WITH P3DV4 IN ANY OTHER SIM EXCEPT THIS GARBAGE!  NEVER AGIN!

Although I'm checking from my phone and may have missed them. I don't see any posts shereuou explained the issues you had. I've been using the products for years wuthout CTDs, and I personally know several thousand people who also don't have CTDs using it.

I certaimly respect your decision, and wish you the best. Beyond that, lets keep things above board please.

Well, I finished work on the creation of the city. Did I think that I could make such a volume, no :)
At the beginning of work on the project, I did not even imagine that I would work on the city on such a scale.

It's time for me to go to the airport and finish work on the project by the end of January :)

    Truly wonderful work my friend!

I'm currently flying from EIDW > KORD with the A330 and experiencing this issue too.

    A/C Version: 1.0.3.1

    P3D: V4.5.14.34698

    Flight details:
Dept: EIDW (Dublin) - RWY 28

Arr: KORD (Chicago) - RWY ILS28C
    Weather: Live

    FOB: 54.9 KGS

    ZFW: 159.7 KGS

    Load/Fuel: 207 PAX, 15.00 CARGO, 54.90 FUEL.

Checklists with Co-Pilot: Both set to ON

Route: SUROX1B SUROX DCT NIPIT DCT MIMKU DCT OSBOX DCT AGORI DCT KESIX DCT SUNOT NATA HOIST DCT MT DCT ALMOP DCT ODAXY WYNDE2

I noticed that there was no altitude restrictions on the departure at first, it should register to be up to 4000ft until DW028 but nothing in the MCDU saying/telling me that, so I set my alt to 4000ft on the FCU.

Upon climbing I noticed passing FL220, my speed had been stuck at 220knts. So I selected to go to 310knts... I thought maybe the bug would go away once reaching cruise of FL360 but nope. It dropped the managed speed down to 119knts... It also told me "DECEL" as if it was time to descend. I went back to INIT on the MCDU and set FL360 again on the CRZ FL LSK.

You can see in the photos, OSBOX is showing to be at SPD .81, upon reaching if I select managed speed, it'll go down to 119knts. You can also see on the photos that my PERF CRZ, Managed should be .81....

    Very weird and annoying glitch/bug.

Sorry you've experienced this, we see it from time to time but it's been rare.

Can you please send the info that is contained in the post linked below?  In addition, when this happens again please check the INIT B page and see if the weights have changed or disappeared.

I don't know if it has already been asked. But i would kinda like something like a DC-9.

For which simulator?  Leonardo has a fantastic MD-80 series for FSX and P3D and will be making a version for MSFS in the future. The Leonardo MD-80 is already one of the most accurate and complete simulations in all of flight sim and it would be very tough to beat.

Does anybody knows an Air Berlin-Livery for the Aerosoft A330? I think there are several requests for this Airline.

There already is one my friend.

Give searching the Internet a try for "Aerosoft A330 Air  Berlin".  You'll also find some amazing stuff on the site you'll be lead to.

    Best wishes!

I'm not sure, but I'll move this to the Livery area where the repainters have a better chance of seeing it.

I am the owner of that photo though took it with my Nikon D7100 and Tamron 70-300 VC USD 2 lens. Yes it is a problem to post photos from jetphotos and airliners. But if i were to post the original JPEG or at a different angle like this

     or 460984_3716329640639_2087993743_o.jpg?_n

it should not be a problem right?

These are the exact photos on jetphotos as proven. I am the original photographer for it. Want to vouch it belongs to someone else just contact. It will lead directly back to my email.

It's best simply to link to your upload on Jetphotos rather than posting the photo here.  I'm sure you understand we don't have the staff to investigate every copyrighted material, and our policy is here to protect the rights of the property owners (you in the case).

    Hi,

I'm interested in Air Europa scheme for the 330-200 version. Thanks a lot!

    Juan,

    Welcome to our forums.

Every flight sim forum in the world prohibits users from uploading photos of aircraft, particularly when requesting a livery.  The reason is simple, the photos are owned and copyrighted by the person or company that took the photo, and uploading the photos to a website without the owners permission is not only a violation of the copyright and opens the person who uploaded the photo up to a law suit, it also makes the owner of the website party to the lawsuit.  As such, we can not and will not tolerate our users putting our company in the situation where we might be sued because a user saw fit to illegally and libelous upload a photo because they want a livery made for them.  This is meant to the first and last stern public warning, please do NOT do this again.  I have removed the photo from your post in order to protect you and our company.

Now that the warning is done and hopefully understood, what you can do is simply copy the link to the photo in question and place that link in your request and... problem solved!

Best wishes, and again welcome to our forums!
