Heraklion for FS2004 (topic closed, product released)

Heraklion X was a very pleasant surprise from us in a commercial aspect and that's why it was decided to create a FS2004 version as well. Of course it can not be as detailed as the FSX version (for example in ground textures) it still is one of the finest FS2004 scenery products I have seen in a while. Release will be soon, here are some images;

After the release of the FS2004-version, will there be a boxed release that contains both the FS2004 and the FSX version? Or will Heraklion remain a download-only product? I think due to the quality and the good sales you mentioned it would be worth boxing.

I hope the performance will be better than the other FSDG products. DTTJ was really horrible!

I am sorry but I cannot simply allow this. Performance is one of those aspects that we do spend a LOT of development time and effort on. As a result, we have received great feedback on performance on our sceneries, both from users as well as from FS reviewers.

We did have a rather limited number of users facing problems with the FS9 version of DTTJ, as well as a lot of happy Djerba users, who will say the opposite.

I'm sure you'll appreciate that we offer support for those who should have any issue with our sceneries, that's why we have our own support forum. Feel free to give us more feedback on any additional problem you might have with any of our add-ons, and we'll try to find a solution.

Apart from that, I'm convinced you'll have no trouble whatsoever with Heraklion FS9.

Always remember: I bought this scenery as it was FSX only released, but I bought it ONLY for FS9! (I do not play FSX! )

LOL I did the same thing, & am just waiting for the release :D

We ran into an issue with AESlite that has to be sorted out, should not take long.

About performance, I get great FPS in FS2004, about as good as in FSX (of course there it has to handle more detailed textures but it has multiple cores). There is most definitely no problem there.

Thanks Mathijs! And nice to see AESlite is included!
