    • You mean, nobody uses p3d, with only two happy exceptions who sit here on this topic right now? *smile*   That's nothing we should talk about when crosswynd sits next to us. Afaik, he's another very happy p3dv4.5 user.   Ahm. I've just asked the passmark benchmark about your 4090 video card:   'Geforce gtx 4090' - benchmark 38309 .   So, I'm happy to have found a member who has:   1.  500 aerosoft forum entries more than me, and that since Mr Kok has left us is not so very easy,   2.  more years left behind him since he was a newbie here on this platform, I mean, I reach 15 years at the end of this month, but 20 years, that should be my next step *smile*, respect.   3. more years left behind him since he was born. I know quite for sure that I'm younger than Mathijs Kok. But we dont' talk about age, if you don't insist.   4. p3d instead of msfs 2020. Yes, and I don't only own p3dv4.5 but also the SDK for v4.5 . Correct very stupid field elevations and more. And all this with less than an i9 . Here on my side it is an i5-11400 with *switched off* igp (the cpu comes with a video solution thats' integrated on the cpu), 16 GB ram and today a rather very old AMD DirectX11 video card with 2 GB vram (!) .   Together with the Rockwell Commander 114 propeller (p3dv4.5 default) this hardware is good enough, but the next step that I'll take is, replace the antique Win10 video card by something better.   I'm more than satisfied with p3dv4.5, even only with an i5 11th Gen. Great.   PS: I must confess, I was always curious about msfs 2020, but I don't need a very lengthy (complicated?!) 150 gigabyte download as long as my video card is not good enough.
    • Heh, I remember back when the marketplace was small enough that the release process was fairly fast.  I also remember when it started to get bogged down with a million "city light" upgrades and livery packs, to the point that the marketplace updates started increasing in frequency (no longer just Thursdays!) but still had a delay.  I also remember when I felt like the OP because I love this plane and want to get flying it again with all the latest goodies I've acquired, (like VR and BeyondATC).  I also remember pepperidge farms.  Shouldn't be long now. . .
    • I bought Ben Gurion last month. I guessed Aerosoft wouldn’t lower the price even though sales for P3D must be close to flatlining. Performance is good but given I have an i9-13900K, 32Gb RAM and a 4090 I’d expect nothing less.   I’m more than satisfied with P3Dv5. When I look at the state of MSFS I have no desire to buy a sim with so many unresolved issues.
    • I've said one or two words about the price tag. Can we talk about hardware?   My info is, use Geforce GTX 970 benchmark 9638 (or better) with 4 GB vram, for Aerosoft Ben Gurion p3dv4/p3dv5 .   Let me translate that for AMD users. We need a Radeon RX 6500 XT benchmark 9565 (or higher) , Crossfire support with DirectX12, and ready to switch from Win10 to Win11.   [All benchmarks are submitted by passmark benchmark users.]   Do you fly something like that?
    • Hm. I like numbers. Why not giving numbers (price tag) for all of us.   Aerosoft Ben Gurion for p3dv4.5 (and that's where I'm interested in) : 24,95 Euro .   Imho that's exactly the version where you are interested in, p3dv4 and p3dv5, both are 64 bit simulators, so...   Gimme five, the both of us have the same idea. But.   Aerosoft Ben Gurion for msfs 2020 (which nobody of the both of us owns): 21,42 Euro.   So... I don't know what your numbers were back then in February (price tag), but today we don't really talk about 3,50 Euro difference.   Or do we?   PS: I second what you say, Aerosoft never ever was a cheap company, and you probably know it better than me...   ...member since 2004, wow,   but I can say what the price tag was for, and now fasten seat belts, for 'Mega Airport EDDL fsx and p3dv1' , back then when it was published.   24,95 Euro. That's a very normal Aerosoft price tag, and if Aerosoft were able to again deliver    such a masterpiece (EDDL fsx)   for p3dv4.5 and p3dv5, then I'll pay again 24,95 Euro.    Greetings to Manchester Ringway.
    • Quite so, as written in post No.1.
    • Thanks. It now works for me.
    • Afaik, the VNAV pages of the FMS contain only advisory speeds for TOD calculation. Once the white asterisk shows up on the PFD, you have to manually descend by setting vertical speed. Automatic descent does not exist in the CRJ because it has no autothrottle.   See here: Chucks CRJ700ER guide   Michael
    • @Kalnon, no worries. Yes, love the aircraft but with the weather so glorious here in England I haven’t been in front of my PC for over a week. 😃
