David G 0
Is the parking brake set David? Hi Emi Yes it is, what I did noticed is when having the parking brake set in, it would set off once I advance the power lever forward. David G. Alan_A 117
Same issue here. Just had my run-up end in Montauk Bay. Open to suggestion. Great product in all other respects.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 14, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted July 14, 2013 Ground friction handling is whacky in FSX, but I can not recreate this. On what kind of surface are you?
Alan_A 117
In my case, on the ramp. Regular FSX apron. Using 1.01.
RoughLandings 0
I have this same issue. Has a solution been found yet? Is it possible it could associated with Accu-Feel? Thanks, Eric *edit* I finally updated mine to v1.04 yesterday and still have the issue.
Snave 466
FSUIPC LUA Friction script active? Are you trying to run up both engines at the same time?
JanTenner 38
Hi David. I also have this behaviour when the aircraft is nearly empty. So maybe try a little bit more fuel or cargo.
RoughLandings 0
FSUIPC LUA Friction script active? Are you trying to run up both engines at the same time? I am not familiar with the LUA Friction script, I'll look into that further. I am not running them up at the same time, just using the interactive checklist and going through it step by step. jcomm 8
Make sure you test your brake efficiency. Sometimes the parking brake doesn't set it's eficiency at 100%! I was also about to ask if you're using the DynamicFriction.LUA, but I see you are not. If using AccuFeel, make sure you disable it for the aircraft, although I don't really think it could interfere. Finn 873
I normally use Accufeel with the Twin Otter and has no issues doing any of the tests, apart with the floater in the water. Finn
