Featured Replies

Hey please you guys can make an update that contains a FMS for Airbus X... Its a great airplane but i repeat... ITS TOO HARD MAKE AN APPROACH ONLINE (IVAO AND VATSIM)

I was in flight. KIAD-KBOS on IVAO.

The controller told me: AAL1882 please INNDY2 to RW22 KBOS and I said sir i cant (Unable) please vectors to the runway... Then after engines off and block the controler told me: Sir why you was Unable to take INNDY2? you was in an Airbus... I said, sorry.

This is everytime that i do a flight? Please team you guys are GREAT 4real but... please considerate this idea.and I cant change the runway to another if the winds change!

  • I am sorry, but as an active Air Traffic Controller I cannot let this one go by. I would estimate that 90% of IFR transport category movements that can fly a STAR do so. For example here in CYYZ we

  • There is more to the UK than London my friend, just like there is more to the world than the US/Canada, you can only speak of your experiences unless you are omnipresent too.

  • Our course they file the STAR silly, doesn't mean they fly it. Congrats on being a controller in the UK, I have always been fasinated with ATC. I don't recal ever saying nobody fly's SIDs or STARs

Have I read this 3 times? LOL.

In reality, read the chart and sharpen you skills like the pros do. You must admit it's a great bird though.

Thats right......but dial a VOR in the Radio, fly the outbound course, look at the DME, dial the next VOR/NDB and fly the next course.....a lot of fun, sure, but not the style of a fully automated Bus.

It was clearly announced what this plane was. Maybe someday they will add SIDS and stars, but most likely not for a long time if ever. It is what it is.

I need no fully SID/STAR. But enter it manually we need a little more Function in the FMGS (Place/Bearing, Fix....)

No, I can just spend a few minutes and program it correctly. You can get any chart you need online for FREE. You posted #792 of the same topic and whine because you really don't know how to program anything and think it's Aerosoft's problem. As it's been said all over this forum, real world hardy ever uses a STAR and you should know what your SID is before you take off. Here's an idea for you. Go to liveatc.net and sit there and listen until you actually here ATC tell a pilot to fly a STAR for his approach. You'll be there a long time. Do some research, actually learn how the real world fly's and enjoy FSX for what it actually is. rolleyes.gif

How many times.......

You CAN enter ANY SID/STAR that is in Navigraph's airac (This comes with AirbusX). Just enter the waypoints off the charts you SHOULD have in front of you when flying online....

That was a joke sir.

You agree that we need a similar update ... not a joke ...

But tell me ... what we use to land? clouds? runway?

  • Author

Why do you need to enter the RWY?

if the wing changed or something.??! no everytime a controller give you vectors.

ok enter LIVEATC.NET and tell me what the controller said... clear to takeoff/land runway OR WHAT?excl.gif

cheer yankee biggrin.gif

The controller says to do some research before you spend your money..

Then you enter the new ILS frequency in the NAV/RAD page.... and Enter the wapoints into the flight plan. If you think this will take too long, then try a flightplanner such as this http://www.aivlasoft...ucts/index.html that will enter a revised flightplan directly into the FMGS in seconds...... (with load to GarminGPS, enabled in EFB options)

As yankeesji has just said, a little research goes a long way......usually find solutions

A ver,, dime que usa el piloto para aterrizar...!???? quiero saber!!!!!!!!

Se ve que sabes mucho de aviacion.... si nisiquiera sabes como se llama donde aterriza un avion woww...blink.gif

I'm done here Raul...I feel like I'm arguing with my dog or something. I hope you have a nice day.
