Dotsalgon 13
If you check the registrations ( SX-DVK & SX-DVP ) , you will see that both of these aircraft have at some stage had a new " nose cone " fitted and because of this the striping has niot been repainted . As for the tail and lettering being different colours , It does say in the original post they are a " WORK IN PROGRESS " . The AEGEAN text was drawn from a photograph , so what " correction " is it needing ? Also you will not see the " real " colours until you have the aircraft installed on your computer and are able to look at it at different times of the day and from different angles , as only then can you see the shading that is included in the paintkit . John Don't get me wrong.... I like the repaints and I am just mentioning the corrections needed SX-DVP and SX-DVK noses look ok to me though... They were white for a time cz the painjob wasn't finished on some airplanes since Aegean got them from other companies.. Cheers Dot!

John Glanville 821
@ Dotsaigon , These repaints ( and all others ) are based on information obtained from photographs found on the internet . SX-DVK with c/n 3392 had the striping in March 2008 but latest photo April 2010 does not . SX-DVP with c/n 3527 had the striping Sep 2008 but Dec 2009 did not . Latest photo March 2010 , the striping is painted again . The reason for painting them without the stripe is quite simple ; it makes the repaint different from all other Aegean paints that will surely follow . Maybe later will add two more registrations - with the striping ( or someone else will ) . So these paints are based on photo's taken at the end of 2009 and as such do not need " correcting " as I was fully aware that it was not the " normal " paint scheme . Guest pao
Beautiful. However, is there a way to make the tail slightly more shiny ? It looks a bit too mat don't you think ? Greg

One small thing I noticed, I think the "Philippines" text needs to be slightly more "compressed" and maybe a little "bolder", as shown in this picture below http://www.airliners.net/photo/Philippine-Airlines/Airbus-A320-214/1682473/&sid=9543495e1b18f68c40a75c8afcbd995e edit: Also, are the back wheel rims a little too dark compared to the photo above? SX-DVK with c/n 3392 had the striping in March 2008 but latest photo April 2010 does not . SX-SVP with c/n 3527 had the striping Sep 2008 but Dec 2009 did not . Will you also add the new promotional "Acropolis" paint of Aegean? (BtW I saw the promotional paint on the airport in Athens and I thought that there was something wrong with the plane! I saw it landing from far away and on the fusalase behind the wing was a picture of a "Cariatis" but before I realised that it was a paint job I thought there was a hole!! LOL ) e.x. MatthewS 32
back wheel rims?? what do you mean? I just mean compared to the Airliners.net photo I posted the colour of the wheels (not tyres) seems a little too dark. In the Airliners.net photo the front and rear wheels are a much lighter shade of grey than in your screen shots. The front wheel looks the right colour but the back wheels seem too dark/dirty (compared to the Airliners.net photo).

TF-197 28
hi I was just wondering, I asked a few months/weeks ago if someone of you repainters could do the Virgin America A320 and I'm just checking if anyone is doing it or will do it?
fantom 0
Does anyone see any problems in my Finnair repaint? Tail, engines and the Finnair text are good. Could you show some photos of the bottom grey? Is it possible to make some of the front side windows white or are they part of the model? Also could you check the position of the registrations? I think they are a bit too back. And the color of the front landing gear hatch registration in those earlier shots appears to bo white not blue.
