newmanix 61
Only that by this April the water level has dropped even more Oh my God! I was there back in Feb. The water is going fast! They say in 10 years it will be gone. It's time to stop providing California with the water!! And Nevada needs a new way to get it's power! Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted November 10, 2008 Aerosoft Share Posted November 10, 2008 Mathijs..... Oh Mathijs...... Mathijs....... Hello Mathijs..... Are you there Mathijs??....Hmm maybe he is on vacation..... I should be so lucky... sorry no plans for that right now. The US market is really difficult right now because nobody there seems to be willing to stock boxed products, only silly Xbox and PS games. The US market is really difficult right now because nobody there seems to be willing to stock boxed products, only silly Xbox and PS games.Well Mathijs,I agree with you but I also disagree with you. The US market sucks I know. But do your numbers actually reflect that only mostly Americans will buy the product? With FSDT working on the LAS airport senery, I would think that you could reach that demographic customer base even without a boxed version in the US. Hell, I live in the US and I own all the Europe seneries. Even the European airports I havn't flown into. It's refreshing to fly into a Europe airport for the first time after enjoying Aerosoft airport Download. I get to say "wow, it does exist!"Anyway, I don't think the senery is all that complicated for the strip. And a great addition to Aerosoft NYC and Monaco seneries. Sort of an oxymoron that FSDT would do LAS and not the Strip which is primarly the reason why people go there... Hmm...Well Mathijs, thanks for the consideration. Can I ask again if we will ever see a Praha Ruzyne senery?? brgds

01pewterz28 0
I hope that you would re-consider if you look at the responses and once FSDT releases Las Vegas you will see that a Las Vegas area scenery would sell like hot cakes even a non-boxed version. Heck if I recall Mega-Scenery Las Vegas X which is just a photo real ground textures sold a few thousand downloads. I could only imagine what Aerosoft Las Vegas could sell. You figure 90% of the detail is on the Vegas strip, 5% downtown, 3% Bolder, and 2% off the strip maybe a handful of Hotel and Casino's. Take a second look I think you will find that Vegas is still a Jackpot Just look at the freeware Las Vegas strip scenery available and see how many times that scenery has been downloaded that will give you a good idea "Cha Ching"Sean

FSXaddict 18
Las Vegas (KLAS) is already on the way for FSX and FS9.http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=1145.0Honestly, this doesn't look much better than MegasceneryX's version of Vegas. Their scenery has been out for some time and is very nice. I'd personally like to see more areas that have NOT been covered by one of the "other" high-quality software creators. I think Aerosoft has done a very good job in doing just that. How about Rio De Janeiro, Cairo, some beautiful bush flying scenery/airports to explore with the great Bushhawk, or the Norwegian coastal area for example. These all have beautiful scenery, which I believe is most important since we, as pilots, spend most of our time in the air looking down admiring the view rather than at the airport itself. Of course, a high quality airport is the "icing on the cake" to beautiful scenery, but I think more attention has been given to actual airports than the scenery in the past, maybe because of the technical part of design, but it looks like the software is heading in the right direction, i.e. Madeira and the beautiful surrounding landscape. Just my thoughts..

Bruce Hamilton 97
And chance Vegas can come after the San Fransisco scenery??But it would still be FSX only, unless that would be your incentive to upgrade.
newmanix 61
Hello Folks,I'll let Sascha know about this, it may or may not be on his agenda.Shaun, thank you so much!! Crossing my fingers. It would be great!!Yes Bruce! I know it would be FSX only, and I will go FSX as soon as I am confident in a computer system that can yield me at least 50FPS with all add ons running and all sliders maxed for $2,000 or less.In the mean time, the more add ons coming out now, the more options I will have when I go FSX. Sasa 921
The next one won't be Las Vegas but it will come sooner or later for sure. The hardest part will be compatibility to FSDreamTeam's las Vegas scenery. Not visually but both parts, airport and city, are quite close to each other and will therefore have a certain impact in frames activated together.Bests,Sascha

Nice to know there is something on the books for Vegas and city. Right now, it just looks an airport and hotels out in the middle of nowhere... Which makes for one helliva blank canvas for you to work with. And i am sure Virtuali and friends would be willing to work with you on compatibility, at least, I hope!! It would be nice to see the traffic drive out of the airport and onto the strip/freeways!! Also, when you do decide to start this scenery, please do night textures! I really think the night textures will be very important with all the colors to see at night!! I will continue to follow your work!Cheers!!
