Parking brakes stuck ON

Recommended Posts

As per title, I made an attempt to use the CRJ this morning after a long time and was unable to move from the parking, the parking brakes remain stuck ON. I move "physically" the parking brake handle with my mouse and it does go into the physical OFF position but remain ON on the EICAS screen (after disappearing in a brief flash), and my aircraft cannot move.

I installed the latest MSFS update this morning, I hope it's unrelated.

Is there a workaround for this please?

Thank you.

Please unplug every hardware, restart the simulator and release the brake with the mouse.
See if it works.
If it does, do as EDNR-Cruiser sugested : Check for any Brake assignment in EVERY hardware connected.
The brake handle may visually look like it is released but the actual brake may not necesseraly.

Best regards.

Did you remove the chocks, Bernard?

No I did not.

That tells you how often I fly this aircraft, the last time was September last year and it is the only aircraft with chocks...! I knew it had to be something stupid as all my other aircraft behaved correctly.

Thank you Ha_Ma!

The just-released PMDG 737 has chocks as well :)
