I have the same problem, 1.28 works fine, 2.03 crash after two seconds. I have installed latest nvidia driver and don't want to go back.

Any solution?

What Windows version do you have installed? I never got PFPX 2.03 running under Windows 10 1809, even with everything (.NET, C++ redistributables, drivers etc.) up to date. After ugrading to Windows 1903 everything runs fine. So obviously it got something to do with Windows.

Thanks

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have been getting this crash for a long time now. I don't think I really buy into the driver claim since this has been happening for two years now.

A CTD with PFPX is a rare occurrence here and more likely due to a vcredist error. Coincidentally a ntdll.dll error may occur around the same time, often following a .NET or VCREDIST update.

Sent you a PM with some info.

Fixed by reinstalling the latest 2015-2019 vcredist

That's what we usually suggest, thanks!
