ENSH-Svolvaer - unzureichende Landebahnbefeuerung

Moin zusammen!

 

Der kürzeste Tag des Jahres gab mir Anlaß für einen kleinen Ausflug nach Svolvear/Helle.

Nur dank profunder Ortskenntnis gelang es mir, den Platz zu finden:

Die Apron-Beleuchtung ist ja ganz gut zu erkennen, die Runway hingegen eher weniger. Das PLASI ist auch nicht vorhanden.

Am Boden ist es nicht viel besser: Die Randbefeuerung der Landebahn ist zwar "irgendwie da", dient aber offenbar nur dazu, die Dunkelheit besser sichtbar zu machen:

Das wirkt auf mich so, als würden da lediglich winzige Reflektoren die Runway begrenzen...

Da mir hier aber "Custom lights" verbaut scheinen, dürften diese Einträge ohne Bedeutung sein.

 

 

Könnte das an meinen Grafikkarteneinstellungen (z.B. Filterung?) liegen?

Überprüfe mal, wenn du in ENSH stehst, ob es in deinem FSX im Addon Menü einen Eintrag "SODE" gibt und wenn ja, ob du damit ein Fenster aufrufen kannst, um in ENSH das VASI ein/aus zu schalten.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort - das werde ich gleich mal ausprobieren!

 

Ich hatte schon den Verdacht, daß es an den mittels SODE modellierten(?) Leuchten liegen könnte, denn auf anderen Plätzen ist mir das noch nicht untergekommen:

Kurzer Testhopser erledigt:

PLASI läßt sich ausschalten (obwohl es ja gar nicht richtig "an" ist...)

Der Befehl "refresh all" ändert auch nix.

 

Allerdings ist mir soeben ein verblüffender Effekt aufgefallen:

Fliege ich parallel zum Platz und schaue aus dem Seitenfenster

ist die Platzbefeuerung für wenige Sekunden an!

Danach ist dann gleich wieder zappenduster:

Vermutlich hängt doch etwas mit SODE, denn obwohl ich das Modul nach der gestrigen Installation von ENSH als "vertrauenswürdig" bestätigt habe, folgt bei jedem FSX-Start folgende Abfrage:

Hast du alles als Administrator installiert und gestartet? Die Meldung oben deutet eher nicht daraufhin.

 

Als Administrator installieren und starten heisst rechts klick auf die exe und "Als Administrator ausführen..." wählen.

Hmmmm - sollte es wirklich daran liegen?

 

Da ich am PC (Win7 Home Premium 64) als einziger Nutzer und Admin angemeldet bin, habe ich diese besondere Installationsform nicht für nötig gehalten.

Werde das morgen mal ausprobieren.

das ist keine besondere Installationsform....

Was ist ein Administratorkonto ?

Du solltest generell ALLE Addons inkl. des FS als Administrator installieren.

Wichtig an dieser Stelle ist, dass Du nicht mit dem Administrator Konto angemeldet bist, sondern mit Deinem normalen Benutzer Konto. Von dort aus startest Du die Installation wie Otto beschrieben hat.

Tschä: Wie ich oben bereits schrieb, habe ich auf meinem Flusi-PC aber nur ein einziges Admin- und Benutzerkonto.

 

Gleichwohl habe ich ENSH deinstalliert, SODE händisch gelöscht (Deinstallation über die Systemsteuerung ging nicht) und die AS_SVOLAER-X_FSX-P3DV2-P3DV3-FSXSTEAM_V100.exe mittels Rechtsklick "als Administrator ausgeführt".

FSX.exe dann ebenfalls "als Administrator ausgeführt" und - um mögliche weitere Fehlerquellen zu eliminieren - keine zusätzliche Wetterdatei benutzt und auch noch das Luftfahrzeug gewechselt.

 

Das Ergebnis ist weiterhin eher enttäuschend:

Bei den folgenden Schirmschüssen ist die untere Bildhälfte zu besseren Erkennbarkeit wieder mittels Bildbearbeitung aufgehellt:

Im übrigen ist die oben gezeigte SODE-Fehlermeldung trotz Neuinstallation "als Administrator" wieder vorhanden.

 

Da ich aber meine Grafikkarte (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti mit ~ 4 GB GRAM) und deren Einstellungen noch nicht als Verursacher ausschließen möchte, kommen hier noch die gegenwärtigen Einstellungen:

Ich vermute, das Problem sind diese Einträge in deiner fsx.cfg:

 

RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=1.0

 

Diese Einträge stammen weder von SODE noch sind es Standard FSX Einträge. Irgendein anderes Addon hat sie eingetragen oder du hast sie manuell als "tweak" eingetragen.

Ich empfehle dir mal die bestehende fsx.cfg in fsx_cfg.org umzubenennen, dann erstellt der FSX beim Start eine neue fsx.cfg. Du must dann lediglich folgendes machen:

1. beim Start von FSX die Sicherheitsabfragen mit Ja beantworten

2. im FSX deine normalen Einstellungen vornehmen (z.B. Bildschirmauflösung etc.)

3. den HIGHMEMFIX einfügen.

Erneut herzlichen Dank für die flotte Antwort!

 

Tatsächlich habe ich diese Einträge nach dem ersten Dunkelanflug auf ENSH auf den Wert 1.0 geändert. Ein Unterschied zu vorher war aber nicht festzustellen.

Die ursprünglichen (default?) Werte waren:

RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.6
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.4
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.5
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.7

aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich die in der Vergangenheit schon einmal modifiziert habe.

 

Dann werde ich wohl in den sauren Apfel beißen müssen, die FSX.cfg neu aufbauen und eine längere Sitzung mit Sicherheitsabfragen über mich ergehen zu lassen...

Nach dem Neuaufbau der FSX.cfg darf ich nun folgendes feststellen:

 

Die obigen Einträge (RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.6 usw) existieren in der nicht-modifizierten Datei überhaupt nicht.

Da habe ich früher wohl tatsächlich mal etwas (neben dem üblichen HIGHMEM-Fix und der TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096) getweaked.

 

Bei Nacht ist die Ausleuchtung jetzt mit den Standardeinstellungen deutlich besser geworden:

Am heutigen "Tage" (11:31 local) sieht es aber weiterhin recht düster aus:

Angesichts des Umstandes, daß andere Plätze (z.B. Skagen und Vaernes, s.o.) mit den arktischen Tag besser zurecht kommen als der Befeuerungsbeauftragte in Svolvaer, muß dieser Platz bei mir wohl "restricted for night time operations during winter only" bleiben.

Schade...

Da das ja durchaus sinnvolle Verhalten der Befeuerung vom üblichen Beleuchtungsmodus abweicht, wäre es vielleicht keine schlechte Idee, im Handbuch darauf hinzuweisen (obwohl das ja bekanntlich sowieso kaum jemand liest...).

 

Ich danke allen Beteiligten für die Klärung!

 

Jetzt bleibt nur noch das Problem der weiterhin aufpoppenden SODE-Meldung
