SU9’s New Nosewheel Steering Axis

Recommended Posts

  • 3 weeks later...

How do I even get the rudder to couple with the nosewheel steering? I actually want this as I am using a controller and this is how I steer other aircraft while on the ground..

N/W Steering is "armed".

Using the rudder controls (left and right trigger) visually moves the tiller in the cockpit, but the plane continues to move in a straight line and the wheel does not visually turn.

"nose wheel steering axis", "increase steering", "decrease steering" - all have zero impact on the nose wheel steering.

In the EFB, steering still does not work regardless of enabling/disable "Use Flight Simulator Steering Axis" option. All this option seems to do is change whether or not I can visually see the tiller control moving in the cockpit.

I have tried all combinations of the above to no effect. I can't taxi to the runway -_-
