smoothchat 1
The Twin Otter promo video showed some really nice icing effects both on the ground and in the air. I have had no luck getting the plane to ice up. Does anyone have some sure fired instructions how to deliberately get the plane to ice up? Thanks. Dopster198 131
Make sure that Icing Effects (or similar wording) is set to On in your sims Assistance settings. Then start a flight in Downsview, Toronto, Canada and sit on the ground for a few minutes
MarkHurst 173
Start a flight anywhere, with OAT just below zero and clouds down to the ground. Some precipitation will also help.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 22, 2022 Aerosoft Share Posted January 22, 2022 Indeed, fly into clouds when it is cold. But do take care, icing is overdone in the current sim so if you gather a lot of ice you might not be able to get rid of it.
