You rotate the knob with the mousewheel.

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted March 30, 2020 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 30, 2020 When you move the mouse cursor over the ALT knob, it should look like this: Please login to display this image. You can then scroll the mousewheel to change the ALT. If it doesnt work, then something is not correct, either with your P3D installation or your PC/Sim setup. Also please check the assignments of your mousebuttons/-wheel thorugh the device driver or any other software.

I think you misunderstand the way the knob is implemented. Pulling and Pushing (left/right mouseclick) only engage modes. To change the target altitude you need to scroll with the mousewheel. Left/rightclicking is not involved in changing the target altitude. You first need to change the selected altitude using the mousewheel, then you need to activate a mode by pulling or pushing the knob with the left or right mousebutton respectively. I did. sorry about that. I have one more question. Should I creat an account with navdata pro?

You only need a NavDataPro account if you want to buy a chart subscription which you could then use with the Airbus (and of course all other supported clients). If you do not to intend to buy a subscription you do not need to create an account either.
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted March 30, 2020 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 30, 2020 And if you're considering getting nav data updated on any regular basis (each 56 day cycle or so many times a year) you should also take a look at NavData Pro. Here's a link. If you take a look at both services, you'll see they each offers either navigation database updates for your Airbus and/or charts. The appearance of the charts is the major difference.
