CRJ Professional 1000 P3DV4 Closes without message when load

Hello!

My Sim closes without message when i select the CRJ prof. (1000 for example) and i click to ok to load Flight.

Not even Event Viewer is showing something.

EVERY other plane works fine (Aerosoft A318, 319, 320, 321, PMDG, TFDI, CaptainSim, CarenadoMajestic Dash) only the CRJ Prof. doesnt work ?

Has anybody a solution maybe ?

Regards Steven

I had the normal CRJ700/900 before. That worked without any problem.

I use the latest downloadable P3DV4 4.(5.13.32097)

Stefan

The CRJ Prof never worked on my System.

Whoa that is rare.

You will be stabbing in the dark for a while for sure. There are three possible culprits. something wrong with the sim (we have seen that a few times), something wrong with Direct X or something wrong with runtimes.  Personally I would always start with a clean install of the sim, with modern add-ons that is much less of a time consuming issue then it used to be.

P3DV4 new installed, no success, Systemchek: see Picture / no Problems with System

Reinstalled VISUAL C++

Only one Problem, if its that: .Net Reapir Tool  (see Picture)  Recommendations with success accomplished (reinstalled KB4522742 , Net3.5 /4.8 for Win 10 1909)  but if i start .NET Repair Tool again, the same message comes again and again. By step 2 there is a fault (Pic 3)

Hi Steven,

sorry for stepping in, but I'm having the same problem, when trying to load a flight with the CRJ Pro from the "scenario screen". Have you tried loading a flight with a P3D-default aircraft and change to the CRJ Pro once you are sitting at a gate/runway? From what I read, that is necessary due to the way the CRJ is programmed...and for me it works...

Best regards

Toby

Hi Toby, glad to hear that i am not alone with my problem :)  Yes i already tried that but without success.

Fact is, i got told it is a System Problem

("You will be stabbing in the dark for a while for sure. But in my opinion it isnt! Every other plane is working, no errors, no P3DV4 crashes, every Scenery Addon is working! 12 hrs Flight possible. So there is only one problem: The CRJ PROFESSIONAL  doesnt work correctly on every System.

I hope one time the Aerosoft Team is insightful and will put out a solution/patch.

Regards

Don't load the CRJ from the scenario screen. Always load another (default) aircraft first. The way the simulator starts has always been different between the scenario screen and loading a flight. And in the recent years, with P3D, it only has become worse. Therefore we always stated that a default aircraft needs to be loaded first to guarantee that the simulation is in a fully initialized and well defined state when the CRJ is loaded.

Regarding  the .NET Repair Tool: Gauge DLLs are always unmanaged DLLs, so they have nothing to do with .NET.

Please try loading a default aircraft (Commander 114 or F-35) first and then the CRJ. Please let us know if it fixes the issue or not.

On my system, P3D crashes everytime I load or get close to ImagineSim's Singapore scenery. It must be their fault, because PMDG and everything else works on my system.

Do you see how ridiculous this sounds? ImagineSim WSSS works for 99.999% of their customers. Just not for me (this is no joke btw. It really crashes every single time here). However, I would never ever dare to state in public that it's their fault and not some special situation that only happens on my PC - unless I have real proof and can at least hint them what the problem might be. Rant over.

Dear Mr. Hartmann!

Of course you are right, it was my fault to write that it is the fault of crj prof. if it is not sure,

but its peculiar too if every other addon works or not ? Again the Aerosoft Airbus Prof. works fine in all way, so it is only hard for me to believe that it is not a crj prof. or relatied things like  (Trueglass, RAAS or whatever)  Problem. Please understand me, i dont want to say that the crj prof. is a bad product or something (on the contrary) but something related to it must be the problem. Maybe its one thing in my System which makes the problem with crj prof. only and every other addon is except, i just dont know. so sorry for writing bad about it before! You are right, if there is no proof i havent the right to write about it like that.  i guess my only solution (if i want to fly the crj prof.) and i definitely want to, is to reinstall my whole System.

i already tried to load default airplane and then crj, the same result. The problem is, i cant get information from EventViewer because the P3D crash isnt shown there.

Anyway Thanks for Help and Support! I appreciate the fast Replys from Aerosoft, its very good Support Service!

Respectfully

Steven

OK. No entry in the event viewer means that nothing has crashed. It means that when P3D tried to load the ASCRJ Pro.dll, it couldn't find of one or more of its dependencies and unloaded it again. These dependencies can be NGConnect.dll, navigraphOIDC.dll (both in the P3D main folder), some part of DirectX (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109) or the Visual C++ Runtime (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads - vcredist.x64.exe is the correct file). These would be the direct dependencies. There is a chance that indirect ones (dependencies of the DLLs that the CRJ DLL depends on) are missing but there's no way for me to find out which ones these are.

I generally don't like the idea of telling people to reinstall P3D (or even Windows). I really try to explore all other options before I even consider. But if your P3D is really 4.5.13.32097 and if all of the above files are there/installed, I seriously don't know any other way to get the CRJ to work.

I reinstalled all Visual C++ Runtimes and DirectX. I use 4.5.13.32097 Version of P3DV4.

Maybe there is a conflict with  Avast Internet Security, or it was a problem, that i didnt uninstall the previous version of Aerosoft Crj 700/900 the first time.

Avast already deinstalled too but no success.

I think there is no other way then reinstall Windows.

Another question: Does it matter which Windows Version i install (Home, Pro, or Enterprise) ? Are there some diferences for P3DV4 or Addon`s ?

  • Verified Developer

The only files commonly used by the old and new CRJ are the fonts - and those are identical, no matter which installer you run first. That's not the problem.

Did you try a P3D re-install before you go big and reinstall Windows?

I use Windows 10 Pro. I think most users are using the Home version. I don't have an Enterprise version available but I don't see a reason why the CRJ shouldn't work with it. The difference is just additional services. AFAIK Home/Pro don't have anything that Enterprise hasn't.

Update:

Only P3D reinstall : no success

Reinstalled Windows 10, P3DV4 without Addons: works perfectly

Conclusion: it was a  system related problem

THX for wonderful support!!!!!!

Cheers
