meccadom 2
The scenery has been updated to a newer version. Should the older version 1.03 be removed prior to installing the newer version....or can you install directly over the older version.? Do you have to revert back to the earlier pinned instructions relating to the APC entries and clean out the exe,dll and fsconfig ? Going forward, do you have to go through this procedure each time a newer version is released? Finally and somewhat directed to the mods in the new release section of the forum, can you please include a comment that indicates whether you must remove and install versions of apply. Thanks for any response Dom
Cargostorm 98
I would always recommend to uninstall the previous version. Otherwise, the new installer will just overwrite the existing files, and it could well be that the file structure has changed leaving some orphan files if not properly deinstalled. Mind though that v1.04 comes with dynamic jetways that may have a significant impact on your frame rate. If that is an issue, I would stay with v1.03 until the switching tool is available that allows to switch from static to dynamic jetways and vice versa. meccadom 2
Clearly stated. I will wait. Thanks Dom
pgreenwo 117
Dom has a good point above - When updates are released it would be great if there was a comment on the release announcement instructing weather to uninstall or install over previous versions. With all the SODE, APC complications it may save a few issues.
DarrianCZE 84
There is actually no need for switching tool. Just open apc.cfg and then switch from True to False in the Dynamic Jetways entry :-)
