  1. Thank you Hoffie!! That led me to the problem. I had to change COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=0 to COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=1 All is good now. I appreciate your help very much. Bob
  2. Using the latest updated version of the CRJ in P3Dv5. This is what I got... Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you, Bob
  3. Has it been said how many liveries will be available when the CRJ is released March 16th?
  4. I just was flying a perfect flight. I really got the hang of doing a beautiful takeoff by reading manuals and watching JustPlane cockpit videos of the CRJ. Now I am cruising along at FL300, when I decide to lower the receiver for the weather radar a little by turning the knob to -3...next thing I'm looking at is my desktop. 😒 It shows something about Navigraph in this text, but I'm not even using the charts on the EFB until there is an update that fixes its problems. 5. I figured it out. When the autopilot disconnects, just reconnecting it does not stop the audio warning. I have to push down the disconnect bar and lift it to stop the audio warning, otherwise I have to listen to it until I land. Thank you, Bob
  6. Hello, After takeoff, I get a warning horn that won't shut off. I have no warnings on the CAS or any other indications of a problem anywhere, but the only way I can turn off the horn is by shutting off the avionics audio in the EFB options. Is there any ideas what this might be? Thank you, Bob
  7. Hello, During a perfect flight with the CRJ 700 Pro from KSEA to KSFO, i was at cruising altitude and went to the EFB to change my charts (Navigraph) to the ILS Rwy 28L. When I clicked to select the runway chart on the EFB, P3Dv4.5 paused, then crashed to the desktop: Windows Application Log: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 11/26/2019 9:29:26 PM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: ***** Description: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 4.5.13.32097, time stamp: 0x5d8abf93 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.17763.864, time stamp: 0xfc217636 Exception code: 0xc0020001 Fault offset: 0x0000000000039129 Faulting process id: 0x5c4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5a4c25bb7a48c Faulting application path: C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: c05edbd1-9fb7-4fb5-9a67-d88b4b5191c9 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2019-11-27T03:29:26.760677000Z" /> <EventRecordID>10345</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>*****</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data>4.5.13.32097</Data> <Data>5d8abf93</Data> <Data>KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.17763.864</Data> <Data>fc217636</Data> <Data>c0020001</Data> <Data>0000000000039129</Data> <Data>5c4</Data> <Data>01d5a4c25bb7a48c</Data> <Data>C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data>c05edbd1-9fb7-4fb5-9a67-d88b4b5191c9</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event>
  8. Why do I now have to wait 50 or 60 seconds between entering my serial numbers with this new version? This inconvenience has never been a part of AES before. I am trying to get my numbers back into AESHELP after re-installing FSX and I have quite a few numbers. Now I have to wait a minute between entering numbers. I didn't expect this to be so inconvenient. I didn't want to take a lot of time setting this up. Before, I used to just put my numbers in and activate airports without waiting. This seems pointless! Thank you, Bob
  9. I am getting a message that one of my numbers is either in use or blocked. This is a number that I purchased back in 2008. It is not in use. Why has it been blocked? Thank you, Bob
  10. This has to be the biggest city project ever. Screenshots look great.
  11. I'm glad that Aerosoft has taken on X-Plane also. I will surely be buying many Aerosoft airport releases for XPlane10. This is looking great and will be great to have such a real looking airport for X-Plane 10 also.
  12. Wow! This looks like a huge project. I never thought you would take on Los Angeles. I will be watching anxiously for the release.
  13. I believe the answer would simply be for Aerosoft to make an admin thread about the updates and situation with releases like Hahn, that are having problems, then just lock the thread so that there are no responses. That way you know that the post is the latest news and there is no complaining. The complaining or rushing doesn't do anyone any good. It doesn't hurry the release and it doesn't make anyone happy. I just come in and check the status, so I don't miss anything.
  14. Mathijs, the last Aerosoft product that I purchased (Friedrichshafen airport) was extremely easy to activate. I don't see how activating a product can be any easier than that. I curious to see how you will be managing it with Hahn. I'm really looking forward to this.
  15. I'm really looking forward to this also. I just read an article about this airport in an airport magazine and I was looking to see if I already had it. Now I am seeing that it is ready for release and I'm ready for it.
  16. Anchorage is looking great and is really going to be a fun destination to have. I can't wait for this release. Bring it on! Bob
  17. Thank you everyone. As long as I know that it is not something that I set wrong, I can live with it. I flew it around quite a while yesterday and, like you say, if I move my eyepoint a little forward on the ground, it is not distracting. Bob
  18. You can purchase a very good weather radar from RealityXP to use in any aircraft
  19. I appreciate the help. This only happens on the ground, but at every airport. Once in the air the VC view is fine.
  20. Hell0, I'm getting a strange out of place graphic with my American Aerolites Falcon. I tried reloading, reinstalling and repairing through the installer, but still have the problem. Is there some setting that I may have wrong?
  21. Hello Mathijs, I certainly have no problem with this. I noticed that the little program lists all of the Aerosoft products that are installed on the computer and I think this, by itself, is a great feature for those of us that purchase much from Aerosoft. It gets a little hard to keep track and this may help with that also. I have no problems with any protective measures that Aerosoft takes and I have enough confidence in this company that I know you will always give state-of-the-art support for your products or protections. I hope you will find what you are doing here very effective in curbing piracy, which is really a thorn in the side of both developers and consumers. Bob
  22. Looking great. I would really like to have this one
  23. I have to partly agree with Coopz. I knew, going in, that this would be a simplified bus, but I still thought that it would allow laterial revision with Direct To and Hold. I can understand not simulating VNAV altitude restrictions, but it should at least allow SIDs and STARs and let the user set the altitudes on the MCP. There is a lot of simplification that can be done on an Airbus sim without compromising the most needed systems. The AirbusX is beautiful and has a lot of great features and untapped potential. I will use this sim because I haven't started flying online, but this sure wouldn't be one that I use online. I agree that Eric Marciano has done wonders with Wilco's product, but I don't think he has released the FSX upgrade for Wilco's yet, so the AirbusX is the best available for FSX right now. I know that Aerosoft keeps their finger on the pulse of the flight sim community. I hope that they can see that we want an upgrade for this AirbusX that would make the product acceptable to the more advanced Airbus user. It doesn't have to be perfect with all of the aircraft nuances simulated, but it needs to fly identifiable to an Airbus A320. Don't build a sim using the default FSX aircraft as a target pattern to work up from, because they are pure garbage.
  24. I'm still looking forward to having Barcelona. Seems like it is getting closer.
