  5. There's a dedicated support area for the Airbus Extended, so I moved this there for you. The General section where you first posted is for products without their own dedicated section. You didn't mention whether or not you use FSUIPC, so I guessed you don't. If you do, simply reply back and I'll move this over to the FSUIPC support side. Also, now that you're in the right support area, please take a look at the threads with related titles and follow the troubleshooting posted.

  6. Which navdatabase (provider) are you using? Did you choose the correct one in the configurator? Which navdatabase is set active in the MCDU?

  7. Obviously you misunderstood something completely wrong. The Fuelplaner is installed in the wrong dircectory. Correct path has to be: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Aerosoft\General\A3XX Fuel Planner And in the A3XX Fuel Planner folder there is no subdirectory "A3XX NavData". This folder is here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Aerosoft\General\A3XX NavData And this pathe is being installed together with the Aerosoft Bus.

  8. Hey Guys, I've recently gotten back into flying the A330 and have really been enjoying it. One simple thing that's been on my mind is that the internal sounds during cruise are just slightly off to a true cruise sound environment. As the airplane starts accelerating to a higher IAS after 10000ft, the rumble of the engines starts gradually drowning out as the wind sounds pick up. By the time cruising altitude has been reached, the engines' sound is almost a 100% inaudible - however, in the AS330, you can constantly hear the whine of the engines at cruise power, even if wind sounds

  10. Quick answer: Yes, you can change it in CRZ. Maybe you tried to add too much and it was more than Vls+15?? So the way it works IRL is yes you can manually adjust the VAPP up to Vls+15kts (as far as I've played with it, this works on the AS Airbuses). The company I'm referencing only has pilots do this for suspected windshear. The Airbus uses what's called GS mini, which is a feature that, when you're doing your approach in managed speed mode (speed knob pushed in), the aircraft will automatically compensate for winds and gusts during approach. This is not obvious to the pilots

  11. sadly "soon" is not an hard coded concept (where I work it means anything between 1 hour and 5 years)

  12. Couldn't disagree with you more, just because you don't get to see every little itty bitty spec of detail that goes into development is absolutely no reason to change your mind on buying it. Just seems like you got spoiled too easily with all the announcements. There are developers that share absolutely nothing, maybe once a month saying "Its going great!" then they disappear again, and people still have excitement for it. I've said this before and I'll say it again, be grateful Aerosoft even cared to share ANY information in the first place.

  13. Well and you would be correct in that. MFS is a entertainment product. Without any aims to be factor in the serious training platform. They never claimed that, they never said anything like that. P3D however is intended as a training tool. We have training products on that platform you do not know about and that you will never be able to buy.

  14. I felt rather unhappy about some of the discussions on our forums (and the accusations made) in the last week, so I decided to have a glass of wine and reflect on them. First, we do not remove a discussion from view without a lot of internal discussions. We only do so when we feel the discussion is unjust, contains incorrect information or simply violates our idea of what is right and wrong. Our forums are NOT ‘public’ forums like on other sites. We decide what is welcome and what is not. Now there are very few forums without commercial links (if a website has a shop you will see n

  17. I'm sorry but this makes zero sense. 1) take decision that proves unpopular among customers. 2) customers complain 3) double down on that decision for no other reason than to spite them. Whatever logical reason Aerosoft's marketing had to push this change (which I do not see, but doesn't mean it doesn't exist), antagonizing the customer base further would be entirely illogical and petty. This isn't elementary school, come on.

  18. True. I really don't want to get into the speculation rabbit hole, but no early access to the larger content creators seems kind of "iffy" to me, if that's the case. Especially how many launches go these days in the gaming industry. However still confident to consider this a day one pickup for me at the moment, and still excited. Also was looking forward to the said preview video before Christmas, but I'm sure Aerosoft are doing all they can behind the scenes. Edit: By large creators, I'm considering the likes of: Chewwy, CptCanada, Jeff Favignano, etc. So they could h

  19. I think a great number of us that use a flight simulator as a tool for learning, have given up any hope that either Asobo, or developers will ever deliver a quality tool for real world learning. It is becoming quiet clear at this point that Asobo and developers are only concerned with trying to sell high volume products to gamers.

  20. I can echo this man's thoughts entirely. I was going to purchase the CRJ mostly due to the fact this was the first proper payware for MSFS and Aerosoft was leading the way in more ways than one. However, the recent decision has made me loose all interest in the product and I will likely stick to the FBW mod (FREE) and X-Plane. Maybe in the future you will realise a mistake was made but I very much doubt it as the majority of MSFS users are not on these forums and it's their money you want, not ours. lockquote widget
