Lisbon 2.0 Jetways?

Recommended Posts

Lisbon 2.0 installs AESLite ... but I assume that doesn't include Jetway operation? (I can't see anywhere where it does mention Jetways)

FYI, P3D V2.2 ... my understanding here is that AES will not be produced for P3D?

Cheers, Rob.

Indeed, because the default animation of FSX is rather silly we prefer to use AES for that.

My AES simply don't see this Airport, so it don't show in AESHELP 2.35a list, for activation. I have to use GSX instead, but no Jetways, anyway.

Hi Jose

Your AES 2.35a simply doesn´t know MA Lisbon as the scenery was released later than AES.
You simply have to wait for a newer AES Version. Sure MA Lisbon will be added there.

Thanks for the explanation!

So, the sentence "Indeed, because the default animation of FSX is rather silly we prefer to use AES for that." has no relation with this reality, I mean Mega Airport Lisbon V 2 reality (including its Jetways), the subject of this thread.

What I mean is: there is no AES for this airport, so there is no way to get those jetways working. Right? No way, until the release of a AES version that can handle it.

A lot of other addon airports have custom jetways that do work with the default command and don't need special software.. That isn't even available for P3D en won't be soon neither. A lot of people are using GSX too which works everywhere and makes paying extra for AES only for Moving jetways a stupid thing.. Pleasure stop the AES focussing and do like all the other companies and make every AirPort work 100% regardless of ground addons.. (Yes i know FSDT sometimes asks for Couatl and GSX alike stuff but GSX is FREE at all FSDT airports and works on P3D without problems.

I am sorry, but this is simply not planned. As said before, the default animation is really crappy and we do not plan to integrate this in our airports.

If you do not like this I am sorry for you, but we will not change it. If this makes our product a no-go for you I feel sorry, but then it will be a no-go for you.

Most other customers got a different opinion and are happy with our airports.

It's just sad that for Prepar3D users or people who don't/can't use AES there is an important functionality missing (having a stair next to a jetway looks a bit silly)
