DetCord 1539
I've run into a issue multiple times where the aircraft won't conduct the push-back even if the tug is actually pushing back. It continues to idle forward even if the throttles are at ZRoT. I've had to drop the throttle to REV GREEN then back to idle/neutral before it will continue. Anyone else run into this? Gregory 25
Never had that problem. See the post "riding the brakes", he had to calibrate his controls again to make it stop.
Joshua Che. 1601
Thats a limitation of the Custom Ground FDE. You must either have engines off before pushback or have GS 0 (park brk set) to start pushback.
canuck21a 17
Perhaps this is not reflecting what you issues have been but I can report that after engine start and when the tug is still connected the plane moves forward after initial pushback has stopped. I thought it odd that the plane would be pushing the tug. My work-around is to always set the brakes after the pushback stops and before the tug is retracted.
