alpha117 51
If the flight strips exceeds the screen and you have to 'scroll' through them you can't pick up if a flight as declared an 'emergency' unless it happens to be on the screen at the time! I've just had a situation where I had held departures for some time and when released ended up declaring 'low fuel', but I missed this as the flight strip was at the top of the list and I was working on the bottom of the list! As there is no 'voice' would it be possible to 'flag' any issue somewhere on the screen so we are made aware of them. Then we can 're focus' on these flights Thanks Clive
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 20, 2013 Aerosoft Share Posted December 20, 2013 But the aircraft should light up red on screen and the 'Emergency' call should sound. Are you sure you have sounds activated and the volume slider up?
alpha117 51
Agree if the aircraft is within the current 'zoom' level, what if the aircraft is outside of the visible screen and the flight strip is not visible due to the amount of traffic? I have sound on, but the 'Emergency' call did not 'stand' out. I will do another test and let you know Thanks Clive
