rsgunner 1
I added flap vorticies to the Bronco. They are not perfect but do add something. They need to be more volumetric Only works in full flaps and 75 kts and above. I may lower that. Perfect for those high humidity landings. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 24, 2011 Aerosoft Share Posted December 24, 2011 I;'ll ask the pilots if the real aircraft shows them. Not sure about that as the wing is so straight and I think air will not be funneled to specific locations.
rsgunner 1
Looking forward to their response. In the mean time I refined the gauge a little. Works with full flaps and only between 45 kts and 125 kts. I used 45 as the bottom limit because you should have landed and slowing down. bliksimpie 14
nicely done.. even though that might not be the case in real life I like the effect.. Mind sharing the mod.?
rsgunner 1
Bump Didn't want this to be buried. It has been refined somewhat. It will only display the vortices when the flaps are full down and when indicated air speed is between 45 and 115 knots. If there is an interest I will upload. Thanks JB for finding my error and testing it. Russ

ddeuce 14
Only on WET High HUMIDITY days will you gain even a notion of a vortice, The propwash is so intense, that if you generate a vortice, it generally comes in propwash, and then maybe for a second or two........ It makes pretty eye-candy........... that's where it ends. Delta

CoolP 24
Looks pretty cool on the shots though, especially on the turns.
ddeuce 14
Another tip for you,,,,,,,,,,,, FSX has already added vortice to your a/c......... make a high g turn dive or pullup @ low altitudes, and voila
