AirbusX and a tribute to Aerosoft...

Recommended Posts

I watched many a plane growing up in the Dyre Ave section of the Bronx, they would takeoff and approach over the house flying in and out of Laquardia. Turn right over the top of the house into final.

Heres the Airbus X doing it witn Manhatten Scenery in background.
Nice shots and really good weather at PADU <img src='http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Well that actually was what the weather was like last year during last week of July 2009. It's does happen and the temp reached 89-90 as far up as Skagway with blue sky.

I know this might not be the correct thread so I do apologise in advance:

I have not bought this puppy yet but I am seriously considering buying it after looking at all the screenshots.

I have the following system (trust me - not what I would prefer but then I did not win the lotto :) )

FSX SP2

WIN XP SP2

4 gig DDR2 -800 RAM

ASUS EAH4770 Series

Pentium® Dual-core CPU E6300 @2.80Ghz

Asus Video3D Device with an LG Flatron L1942S screen

My question here is fairly obvious; Will I be able to fly this bird or must I revert back to FS9 :(

Regards

Birdman

If you can fly the planes with more sophisticated systems comfortably in FSX (PMDG for example),

then you no longer need a FS9 to enjoy the Airbus :)

Hi, currently I only have the default a/c in FSX. I looked at the product page but I am not PC minded, so I have no idea if some of those specs shown are above mine

Yes, your PC is fine for all range of Aerosoft plane additions, and most airport sceneries.

I donor even use the default a/c anymore. Better flying and feel with better modelling with my hanger planes. Airbus is one AWESOME plane.

You are Welcome :)

And remember to read the manuals - there can be some tricks to optimize settings for smooth FPS.
