testorius
When the starter is operated in battery mode to start an engine, the entire power system seems to be loaded in such a way that the lamps become dimmer and only light up again with the usual brightness when the switch is returned to the neutral position. This can only be caused by a voltage drop in the network due to the load during the starting process. If this is the case, shouldn't the volt display also react during this period? I think the volt display does not reflect the voltage dip.
IGrant
I have also noticed that there isn't a load on the relevant generator during a cross gen start, nor does the battery seem to draw a load whilst recharging. Electrical loading doesn't seem to be extensively simulated.
