Ry4nVan 0
New pictures look great! I love the aged look to the aircraft like those grease marks across panels. Looks great!
Ry4nVan 0
Did anybody want Conformal Fuel Tanks?let me know, or I'll just go ahead and toss them in the recycle bin.TimI personally wouldn't care for them. I prefer the external fuel tanks.
Kevin Glover 7
No, for sure it will be more heavy on framerates because the model is many times more complex. But it is highly optimized so it should not be too bad. The F-16 is one of our 'future proof' projects where we explore what is possible. Unlike the Twin Otter where performance was one of the main design conditions, the F-16 is allowed to stress current hardware. Just like the A-10, Seahawk and Manhattan in FS2004. Those were hard on hardware when they were launched. I may have to wait until I get a new computer, then.... I don't want to do to this review what I did to the Seahawk

bin801 0
could you give out a detail and for sure minimum and suggestion hardware requirement? so in advance, I can judge all those screen shots are my future or just my dream
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted June 30, 2008 Aerosoft Share Posted June 30, 2008 Looks amazing!Just a little question... In the begining of the project you mentioned an idea of missions included in the F16 pack... First of all will you do missions with it with the possibility to launch missiles etc..? Will you release it with the pack or in another pack?Thank you ! Great work thoughVIncentThere will be two missions coming with the product, but as said so often, this is about FLYING the aircraft, not about FIGHTING the aircraft. There might be a extension later that adds some more military stuff, but the initial release will not allow any shooting.

JorisVdB 0
I'm thinking this will become one of the classic bestsellers of Aerosoft, like the Beaver...and ditto for the Catalina!
JamesChams 108
Did anybody want Conformal Fuel Tanks?let me know, or I'll just go ahead and toss them in the recycle bin.TimDear Tim,Please include them (Conformal Fuel Tanks); Thank you. PS: I want to make extended ferry trips around FSX's Europe/America's and this will come in handy. I've never seen this in any of our (U.S.'s) fleet so, I might fly an IAF varient on a ferry in FSX's North America to South America as a Long distance/High Altitude, INS navigation test flight. And I hope many others. Also, Please get the Navigation capabilities of this bird worked out completely. If you want to bounce actual proceedures off a professional, you know what to do. Please enable all navigational capabilities; at least the ones included in FSX.Thank you very much for making this Bird fly in FSX. Staff,Also, Thank you all for working really hard, for this project, to make it a success.

Waleed 29
Are there any considerations for f-16's for the Royal Jordanian Airforce?I believe they have the block 15ADF variant, but are upgrading to the MLU programme.I also know that they purchased around 30 or so mlu f-16's from Belgium and Norway.I think they are also getting the amraam's.http://homepage.eircom.net/~steven/images/jordanf16s.jpghttp://homepage.eircom.net/~steven/images/f16jordana.jpghttp://www.rjaf.mil.jo/upload/gallery/F16A_001.jpghttp://www.rjaf.mil.jo/upload/gallery/F16_break_001.jpghttp://www.rjaf.mil.jo/upload/gallery/F16A_004.jpghttp://www.rjaf.mil.jo/upload/gallery/F16A_003.jpgThis one has a few more:http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=130344Also, an answer to the earlier posting regarding the ugly cammo on the F-16:http://www.defense-update.com/products/f/f-16-camo.htmP.S. I am buying it either way, but would enjoy it more with the RJAF F-16's.
AV8TR 0
It's quiet here. The reason must be either A - You are working really, really hard on something. (which naturally keeps your attention someplace else than the forum)orB - You ran into some serious problems. (but you won't tell us in case some of us might get a heart attack) or C - You are REALLY close to release, and therefore you'll let us wait for the Falcon to arrive instead of posting pictures only days before release... ...I would prefer C But what do I know... Fulcrum 0
I will not hope it, but I think it is "B". Mr. Mathijs Kok wrote a week ago: "Most certainly not this week. We are working flatout on the F-16 but we ran into some new issues."
intrepid 2
" C " would be my pick as well here's hopingRandy

Guest Dag
Hi,Indeed, A, B and C External modelling and texturing is in a very intense period with external stores being done at the moment. On the inside of things, gauge updates are regular and the people responsible for programming is doing a superb job. It's hard work, however and most stuff needs to be tested on many platforms, both OS' and DirectX versions are a keyword here.I give you an example; some texture crap that I created may look good in DX9 but not at all in DX10, we need to gather for both. Keep the faith, and don't be so negative as some of you (Fulc...) are. The more bugs we can clean, the better the product for you.PS: IRIS-T missiles are beautifully modelled by Tim, and finished and the Northrop-Grumman Raphael Litening ATP is also in the process of being finished. The F-16 is not just an aircraft, it's a weapons system and we will try to portray it as such on a select number of models. There will be typical training configurations as well, and there is no doubt there will be compromises. Not all countries models will be represented down to 100% accuracy. We are doing our best and be patient.
Ry4nVan 0
Thanks for the update. For me it's hard to understand because from the pictures everything looks done. But I guess there's a lot more on the inside to be figured out.*crosses fingers*
Benoit 0
Take your times guys and no pressure. Do all testings you need because it will be a great product So I prefer to wait and have less bugs.ThanksBen.(but I'm so excited too lol)
