JJJackson 0
I have bought Kiruna Airport and trying to install it in my P3D v5. It installs in v5/Ecosystem but HOW do I activate it in my sim? When I look in the add-ons or scenery list in my sim, it is not there. Ok I know I am stupid but can you please help me understand this? Developer OPabst 2091 Posted May 15, 2020 Developer Share Posted May 15, 2020 There is no info, not here in the List or in the Product page, that Kiruna Next Generation is already P3D V5 compatible. The P3D V4+ only includes all subversions of V4, like 4.5 now.
JJJackson 0
I am sorry Oliver, my question was WHY the airport does NOT get added to my scenery.cfg or is it installed with the xml-method? Jack

Jack It is most likely added via add-on.xml. Check the install folder. The installer can’t it register in the sim, because the installer/configurator doesn’t know the v5 Config folders. It’s made for v4.

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted May 24, 2020 Aerosoft Share Posted May 24, 2020 That is a very bad idea as Prepar3D really needs the new fashioned way, but if that is what you prefer, so be it.
