Still problems with high ASCII folder names?

Recommended Posts

Are there still people with MyDocument folder names with high ASCII characters that see issues using the EFB?

We just tried it with very weird folder names and could not see the issue anymore.

Just a quick additional question, exactly WHAT does not work on those systems?

I think it is this typical error: "webbrowser failed to load url...."

Just to let you know, guys: this issue is not forgotten. It has a higher priority, so recently I made related changes in my side.

And now we're waiting for another developer's input, it will take hopefully another few days.

We know, we are still trying to find a way to solve this. Not easy.

Do note that every add-on using this tool has the same issue so pressure is on.

Guys,

I think the EFB should work with your paths now. Please try the updated build, see the attachment.

Just overwrite the old build located in "Panel_Fallback\WebSimGauge" folder of your specific aircraft.

But in case of the problem persists, please close the sim and upload the "EFB_Ctrl.log" from the "Data" folder!

Next: I wonder do other modules work well in your end? Does this problem takes place with EFB only?

Thanks.

EFB_Ctrl.dll

It works perfectly now, thank you!!

Thanks for reporting!

So, do other modules work well in your end? No problems with a navdatabase, for instance?
