Amount of passengers greater than 255

Hi,

indeed, I found out the cause! 300 vacationers want to fly from Munich to the Dom Rep.

But only 42 passengers want to go back ...
All other passengers want to stay because it is too cold in Germany...  🙂 Joke

Maybe it's related to the Scenery, but on the second try it worked with Punta Cana too.

Kind regards,

Harald

yes of course, but in some situations it is only possible to load up to 255 passengers.
Higher values are interpreted incorrectly and then have only max.44 passengers. This with the same airline
.

For example: i go with the plane to an Airport and can only load up to 255 passengers.

Close the Sim, reload again and go to the same Airport with the same Livery an can load up to 300 passengers without problems.

That's just wrong man!  335?  Cramming people in like Sardines!  Almost as bad as what US based Airlines do!

Just a small bit of trivia... while researching something else today, I found that the maximum number of passengers for the A330 is 440 people!  That's the actual number based on an official configuration profile!  Crazy!

It's actually based on the EASA Type Certificate:

The maximum number of passengers approved for emergency evacuation is:

  •   375 basic (3 Type A and 1 Type 1 doors installed)

  •   440 option (4 Type A doors installed Mod 40161)

You bet!  Though I would not want to be packed onto an aircraft that was fitted out for that many people!   That would be as bad as the proposal a  year or two ago to have airline passengers stand instead of sitting.
