jodle 5
Does CRJ9 implemented terrain radar? WX radar works fine.
Emi 5161
The CRJ does not have terrain radar since the Active Sky Radar that is used by the CRJ does not feature terrain reflections. It is however equipped with EGPWS.
jodle 5
It is and works fine ;-) BTW My suggestion is for APU start. It won't run only if aircraft state is the same like in DAVEos and FMC for ex cold and dark. Please login to display this image. Please login to display this image. Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted March 20, 2018 Developer Share Posted March 20, 2018 Please login to display this image. this one. If the MFD says "TERRAIN" in the top left corner, it's active. However, Emi is right (although a little bit pedantic ) here. The data for this display doesn't come from any radar, it's a database stored in the aircraft's computers which shows what's ahead. The advantage is that it can look "behind" mountains like that.
generale84 156
Ok, but you have to set also in the pedestal somethingh on not? Only with this button I don't have this result...
Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted March 20, 2018 Developer Share Posted March 20, 2018 Well, normally it shows nothing unless you really have mountains ahead of you. Try Rwy 08 at LOWI.
