Gregory 25
Hi, I am looking to replace my 6 year old Samsung 27in monitor. What are you using now? I am looking at 32in 2K type.
Cargostorm 98
I am using latest Asus PG348Q. It is not cheap but provides 21:9, 3440x1440p, and G-Sync at up to 100 Hz. Your Hz rate will always be synchronised to FPS. Nice to get smooth panning around. https://www.asus.com/de/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG348Q/
Gregory 25
Little out of my price range! Trying to stay less than $500.
PatrickZ 300
Then maybe you can get yourself a Dell UltraSharp U2913WM. It sells at € 439 here, which is equal to $ 490. Budget well spent I would say.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted May 30, 2016 Aerosoft Share Posted May 30, 2016 Just make sure you get a panoramic screen, there is just no going back after you tried that in any game. Multiple monitors just not cut it anymore.
Er!k 572
Please note that if you upgrade your monitor from i.e. 1920x1080 to one of these; this will also impact your performance! To get similar performance you will probably need a new graphics card as well.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted May 30, 2016 Aerosoft Share Posted May 30, 2016 I do not agree. The amount of pixels has a very limited on FPS in FSX (or in this case P3d V3,2) Resolution 3440x1440 -> average 49 fps Resolution 320x200 -> average 55 fps Please login to display this image. Gregory 25
Looking at a Ben Q 32in monitor. Anyone have any opinions on it?
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted June 27, 2016 Aerosoft Share Posted June 27, 2016 I strongly suggest you check out 3440x1440 screens, they are really what any game needs.
PatrickZ 300
I once had a BenQ monitor, but it wasn't the best I ever had. The resulution was good, but the colors were a bit flat and it was impossible to improve this in the settings. It might have been that single monitor that was faulty, but never BenQ for me again. Better spend a little more on a good brand.

Well, of course I might not be the best choice to ask but I think it looks great. Always hated using dual monitors, this is just a hell of a lot better. Please login to display this image.
