Twice now flying in 2024 (SU2 beta) into KDCA (ils01) I have encountered what appears like a WASM freeze. The second time it happened I paused the sim and went into Dev mode to look at the console but I could not find any WASM errors. Not sure what is going on here. I don't have this problem with 2020. On PC Store version. -
Our next heliport scenery for MSFS, developed by RedFox Simulation, will be released soon. This time the focus is on St. Johann (Pongau), Salzburg, Austria - site of Heli Austria's headquarters.

We had hidden two small hints in the last screenshots of Oslo. No one had found it well; one clue was also difficult to discover the next mega airport will be none other than the largest German airport - EDDF Frankfurt. Under the direction of Jo Erlend and Lukas (Head of the internal airport dev team), we have been working with a team of 7 on the MSFS implementation for several months. Here are a few impressions from the ongoing development.

Mount Everest Airport Series Volume 2 enters beta phase The second part after our successful Volume 1 with Lukla goes into testing. We have attached some pictures of the beautiful airport of Phaplu and its surroundings. To get some more information about the airfield and the included parts in the scenery, we have summarised the following information for you to get as excited about the release as we are. Phaplu is the closest airport to Mount Everest that is connected to the national road network. Due to the increasing number of tourists, there are more and more scheduled flights to this airport, which is not only another gateway to Everest, but a beautiful destination in itself, nestled in a lush green landscape. The airport has an interesting location on a hillside, with the apron carved into the terrain and the tower and terminal perched on a high wall that follows the runway. Be careful when taxiing here, as you wouldn't be the first pilot to touch the wall with your wingtip! Approaches to the airport, however, are made difficult by the harsh wind conditions in the valley. Strong winds mean that the airport closes at midday, so flights are limited to the early hours of the morning when the weather is usually good for flying. Gusts of 43 knots have been recorded here. As a bonus, there's another challenging airport included in this package: Kangel Danda, which sits spectacularly on the top of a mountain between Rumjatar and Lukla. There are steep cliffs at either end of the runway, so you can quickly gain ground clearance without having to climb. Recently there have been plans to resume scheduled flights here, as the communications equipment was destroyed in a thunderstorm and little effort has been made to repair it for years. The goats that graze the airport are happy to use it as a welcome pasture. Features: Detailed 3D terrain models of Phaplu and Kangel Danda airports with high-resolution photorealistic textures. Gateway to Mount Everest and World's Most Dangerous Airport; an airport so full of extremes that it is not only known by hardcore aviation enthusiasts anymore but became a phenomenon among influencers, travel bloggers and documentaries. Truth to be told: There are airports that are higher. There may be airports that have a shorter runway. There even may be airstrips somewhere that have an even worse upwards slope of the runway. Or others that have a mountain wall at the end of its runway. What makes Lukla standing out is a combination of all those factors in one single airport! Not enough thrill for you? Count in weather as a factor. No navigational aids. Limited documentation of approach and takeoff routes. An uncontrolled airpace with fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. This package supersedes "Lukla – Mount Everest Extreme" by the same developer. One of our most popular sceneries of the past two decades that has won many awards – among them the Simflight Award. Servus from virtual Munich ! Today (March, 27th, 2024) we have updated our Munich scenery to version 2.1.0. We have added airline codes for AI aircrafts, thanks to the help of "ErikNL80" who figured out the parking assignments and corresponding codes. And we made some other minor corrections, see changelog. Changelog Munich V2.1.0: - added airline codes for AI traffic - removed bushes at runway areas - re-established ground layer order (grass appeared on some taxiways) - removed remains of taxiway ground signs "O1" and changed to "E1" - corrected ground signs of "blue" and "orange" taxiways - changed vertical taxiwaysigns from "O1" to "E1" and "C4" to "C5" - removed static stair in T1 connection building Ths update is allready available via AerosoftOne. sim-wings

"Bon dia" from virtual Barcelona, today (March, 21st 2024) will be available a new update of our sim-wings Barcelona scenery: Version 1.1.0. The changes of 1.1.0 are: - Changed rapid exit R1 to new shape and taxiwaypath - Ground layer optimization (color and grafic) - Removed overlapping taxiwaylines on yellow ground signs - Added two new concrete paved parking postions (PP200 and PP247) - Added boxes with yellow parking postion number signs to jetways (to those having these in reality at T1 and T2) - Texture and model changes at terminal T1 jetway connection buildings, added parking position numbers to these buildings - Ground level floor of Terminal T1 partly repositioned and enhanced with handling baggage carousels - Small enhancement of Terminal T1 roof structure - Corrected jetway hoods at terminal T1 (were moving to wrong side) - Changed color of some ground lines (less saturation) - Added bridge at Llobregat river - Additional flatten of default mesh bleeding through buildings at port area.
