Not many participants so far ๐Ÿ˜‰ As this is a last minute entry (to be correct: last day entry ๐Ÿ™‚), I just picked one of my favorite shots from FSX plus photoreal scenery: Laguna de Santiago, Canary Islands (Click to enlarge the picture, please) Because I had already posted this pic in an AS screenshot contest last year, please let me stay out of race.   3. Hello Aharon, very well combined! ๐Ÿ™‚ But: It's not a trick - it's FSX ! A nice little gimmick in this smart aircraft addon ๐Ÿ™‚ Of course I'm looking a little bit different in real life. Due to the fact that I'm not wearing sunglasses while simming ๐Ÿ˜‰ And due to the fact that I don't have a headset like this. But with a small webcam it should theoretically be possible to replay my smiling face while enjoying the fascinating photoreal landscapes ๐Ÿ™‚ I bet this will be a feature in FS2030. With FSX you can enjoy it right now. If you don't mind looking a little bit like me while wearing headset and sunglasses ๐Ÿ˜‰ Stay happy and keep flightsimming! Torsten

  5. Hey Simeon, GREAT THEME! Phantastic idea, congratulations! ๐Ÿ‘ And very impressive screenshots, Simeon! Again a great pleasure to enjoy and admire them Hard to believe that they are from "former" simulation platforms ๐Ÿ˜‰ So I don't want to be unpolite, and I apologize, but in my eyes FSX is not a "former" flight simulator.   12. Hello altogether, in June I had posted a table comparing the hardware recommendations for FSX, Aerofly FS2, XP11, P3Dv4 and P3dv5. Now I have added the MSFS: By the way: I prefer to spend my money in aircraft addons and scenery addons (photoreal sceneries), not in extremely expensive hardware. It's the addons which make the quality and immersion in your Flight Simulator. Always safe landings Torsten

  16. I don't know if Aerofly FS from IPACS counts as Aerosoft product? On the metal box of AF FS2 are 2 Aerosoft logos: one on the front side and one on the rear side. For those who want to know the location or/and want to compare with MSFS: In my opinion Aerofly FS has the best scenery you can get for Switzerland. It's such a fun to fly over and between these fascinating mountains of Swiss Alps. The photoreal textures and the mesh are so fine that the immersion is incredible. I love it ๐Ÿ™‚ And why not have two flight simulators?

And it's not a trick ๐Ÿ˜‰ It's just FSX plus photoreal scenery ๐Ÿ™‚ Approaching Heliport Sรถlden in the very famous ร–tz Valley / ร–tztal, Tirol (in the wider surroundings of Innsbruck) Sim: FSX (SP1+SP2); aircraft: Schweizer 300 CBI; scenery: Austria Professional HD West So don't worry, you don't need to buy very expensive hardware to be able to fly over your house and count your cars or count your sheep ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just buy good photorealistic sceneries. And don't let them talk you into o..x landclass sceneries! Have a lot of fun with your flight simulator, no matter if it's FSX or MSFS. Or maybe Aerofly FS . . .   19. Hello Aharon, thank you very much for your interest. Your wish gives me an idea. Would you mind if we play "Guess where I am?!" all together? Some places are very famous and I'm sure that other people will know. And those who think these famous places are much too easy, they can show their competence by solving the difficult places and give hints to others. I suggest that I stay out of it, because google maps can tell everybody if the answers are correct. And in one or two weeks I'll tell you the missing solutions. That's okay? And hey, just another idea: it would be fine if somebody knows the solution to post a screenshot or a picture from this location instead of telling the solution, so that all others can continue solving the riddles. What do you think about it? And maybe Aerosoft will be so kind to spend a download addon for the one who has posted in this month the most flightsim screenshots with the right solutions? I would spend my prize if I would win in July's screenshot contest. Is this a fair offer? So I hope you have a nice time all together to solve the riddles and post the screenshots instead of getting crazy while waiting unpatiently what MSFS will bring us on August 18th ๐Ÿ™‚ Always safe landings Torsten

Hello, just a little potpourri from different places on our fascinating planet with photoreal landscapes: BONUS Of course you can have autogenerated trees on photorealistic sceneries in FSX, but for me there is no sense in flying so low. I prefer to fly higher and enjoy the overview and the details of photorealistic sceneries.
