Just adding a topic so the project is known. As you know we are adding georeferenced charts to our Airbusses and CRJ pro. On these charts you will see where you are as a a symbol will move over the chart. But the desktop application will also be updated with this option. It will need a very small app running in the background to take the position from the sim. Not sure when the product will be updated but the charts you love will be soon a lot smarter.

In our ticket support we currently have a 90% satisfaction rating and that includes the negative comments from people who are asking the impossible, 88% of emails asking about an offline activation of a product are not from paying customers and they do not tend to be happy if we refuse. For the forums this is harder to measure. Once a topic is closed the system makes a notification and every 50 or so I send a short question to the person who started the topic asking if he is happy or not. The happiness rating there is about 92%. But that covers only real 'support' and does not capture all forum users. That's why I want to make a wider poll with the simple question if you feel Aerosoft staff, forum moderators and forums users (!) are doing a good job assisting you. Now it's the easiest thing to post on hatebook of some other site and get a load of people messing up a poll like this. Everybody who we refused service because he asked some proof the product was actually bought has a bone to pick and will use a poll like this get even. That's why I insist that if you select 'Bad' you leave a note why you feel so. if you do not I will either just delete your vote or if we notice some more organised idea behind that voting take further actions. Honest and open comments are more than welcome. Aerosoft customers on average own 7 (!) of our products so making people is damned important to us.

Yes sir. We won't know until the RC installer is created, as more liveries are added. Remember though, repainters always add a great many liveries in the first 2 weeks after release.

The fuel planner doesn't take a route into consideration, merely the linear distance between the two airports. It's best to use PFPX or Simbrief, create an aircraft profile in either, or at the very least take the ZFW value from the Airbus Fuel Planner and put that into Simbrief... and allow PFPX and Simbrief to calculate the fuel load. I've previously posted the procedure and values to create an aircraft profile. I'll try to find the post and will update this with a link when I have it. EDIT: Okay, four relevant posts that will help, two by one of our Beta Testers, Bill, and two I did. Longer Thread and great values to use: My Short Method: The Longer Method with the Simbrief Profile I use: I hope this is helpful!

Well, I'm in Lukla. I need to read the manual, I haven't got it set up properly yet. But a big thank you to all at Aerosoft who pitched in to help me sort it out. 10/10 for customer service. TT

Yes, but do not Autogen completety turn off, so Autogen Vegetation and Building Density should be set to sparse. In general, start with the lowest settings and move them up as long as you have at least stable 20fps.

We at Aerosoft are firmly against any form for racism and it will never, not EVER be tolerated in our house (Aerosoft Forums). I read the post in question, and I didn't think it had any racism based content. As someone who is formally educated in computer security, I can tell you that a very high percentage of malware and computer based attacks do indeed originate in China (if you run a firewall, check your log!). That's not racism, it's just fact. Moreover, many people who deal with Malware will tell you that malware originators around the world often use Chinese characters (for a lot of reasons), which is why I believe @marcusjm said what he did You are not only right, but most welcome to challenge any post here that you feel may be racist. But in the future, we would appreciate you using the "Report Post" feature (located in the top right of the post window), which will allow for us to deal with this outside the forum and more importantly it will ensure the matter gets a LOT higher level of attention. Thank you again, and my very best wishes.

If you want it exact, it was first announced for a December 2015 release. Then LM released a 64bit simulator for which a majority of the code had to be rewritten, then it was decided that the A330 shall not simply be a copy of the A320 code, etc. Literally the only difference between Aerosoft and other developers in the respect of development time is that Aerosoft announces their projects rather early and communicate about them totally open and honest. I know of more than one developer who simply keeps deleting any criticism from their forums. Developments may seem longer in Aerosoft but that's simply only because projects are announced very early.

I have a full account of all Adobe apps, pay a lot for that every month. And still I use a cracked version of most apps because the DRM they use has a problem with my machine, Adobe was not able to assist me with that. And that is pretty much what I think about strict DRM, it makes life harder for honest customers and is hardly a problem for people who want to steal it. Around 20% of all support we do is about problems with DRM (mainly customers who need it reset). That costs money. And we only get money from paying customers. There is no logic in that. A solid product, a good price and good support. That is effective against piracy.

Believe me, there is no way to make a product safe from hacking it. We all saw what happened to FSL who really invested into anti piracy systems and even those with really tight systems like PMDG, Leonardo, etc. still end up on the known piracy sites. It might take a week or two longer, but it's not a question "if" it will be pirated, but "when". Therefore we don't see the logic in investing thousands upon thousands of euros into such a system, which in the end also means a pain for a genuine user if a false positive occures. We rather accept that piracy can never be 100% prevented and make life easy for the genuine customer than to overdo it with a system which in the end isn't failsafe either.
