ibanez7373 0
Just bought the CRJ yesterday, version 1.01. Turned off antivirus and installed on my system (Windows 7 Pro 64bit) to P3D v4 (which is pretty much a clean install). I can select the aircraft when planning the flight, but as soon as I try to load the flight, P3D4 immediately crashes to desktop. This only happens with the CRJ; flights load great with all other default aircraft. Tried multiple liveries, both -700 and -900, uninstalling and reinstalling, with same effect, every single time. DaveCT2003 2553
When you installed the CRJ, did you disable computer security and run the installer "As Admin"?
ibanez7373 0
Yes, as I said, antivirus was disabled when I installed. I did install as Admin. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 3, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 3, 2017 The faulting module points to a problem with your Microsoft Visual C++ libraries. LM requires to have Visual C++ 2015 to be installed. You can download it from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
luky1997 1
I have the same problem. Even after installing the Visual C ++ 2017 it doesn't work. Has somebody an other suggestion?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 6, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 6, 2017 You should explicitly install Visual C++ 2015!

Here is the correct link to the installer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx%3Fid%3D53840 For the record, even after a menagerie of uninstalls, re-installs, reboots, and so on, I am still unable to get this to work as well. In reading along, this looks like it could be a bug that new installs are starting to catch.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 9, 2017 My link waws correct, it points to the site where all other links to the libraries are availiable. The only problem we currently see here is typical for Microsoft: VC++2015 and VC++ 2017 have the same version number 14.x, that means when you install VC++2017 it wipes out 2015. Thanks to Microsoft. bedwetter15 1
I'm trying to figure out, has this been solved, I'm having the same issue and am trying to fix it. Thanks anyone for the help!
jamboman 0
I had the same problem and i was able to fix it by uninstalling VC++ 2017 then installing VC++ 2015 from the link above. it now works.

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 9, 2017 Also to you te question, how do you load the CRJ? Directly from the free flight menu or after first loading a default aircraft?

I believe you are incorrect or logged in as a developer. Here is what I get. First, I click on your link: Please login to display this image. Then, I click on that link and get this. Please login to display this image. Then, I try the link in an "in private" browser session and get this: Please login to display this image. The link I provided yields this: Please login to display this image. Which works, but the 2017 version registry overrides the 2015 version and is therefore unrecoverable. To the two people who down voted my post, please tell me why after posting something helpful and actually following the other posts instructions before starting a new thread you voted it down. Deputy Sheriffs The Dude 6537 Posted September 10, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 10, 2017 We had a similar problem during the beta. At certain airports we got an CTD, at others none. Do you always try to load the CRJ at the same airport or does it CTD at every airport?
jamboman 0
I have tried a few different ones so far. So i tried to uninstall and then redownload the installer and reinstalled it and it worked the first time i loaded it but after the first time it will always CTD. This is a shame as it looks like a fun plane to fly. Any help would be great.

jamboman 0
I always run P3D and all installers as Admin. I also made sure Antivirus was disabled when installing. here is a stream i did to show you of the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaKSI2hKj3A
Hans Hartmann [OLD] 1419
That's very early. Most likely before the gauges are even loaded. But I will check if anything happens at this point.

DaveCT2003 2553
One last thing before reinstalling Windows... Try removing the C++ Redistributable 2017, and installing the 2015 version instead. It's a long shot. If you need the link to the download, please see the thread below. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/114365-if-you-have-problems-with-the-airbus-do-this/
AF024 2
Hi everybody, I have the exact problem as shown on the video. I'm running P3D v4 on Windows 10 x64 and have installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 Update 3 (french version). I don't have the 2017 version installed, but I still suffer the exact same bug with the version 1.01 of the aircraft freshly installed. With the release version, I was able to load the plane and sometimes fly it before having a CTD. But with that version, it's impossible to load it. If necessary, I could let you control my PC via Teamviewer to investigate where the problem comes from.
