    Thank you to Mathijs and developers for bringing so many existing airports over to P3D V4 and even adding some nice Dynamic Lighting support. So far all this work has been provided for "free" upgrades, very much appreciated! I'd be more than willing to pay for upgrade costs relative to the work investment required for those upgrades as I know moving from V3 to V4 can bring some challenges that need to be overcome. Keep up the great work/support for P3D V4. Cheers, Rob.

    Aerosofts market approach and pricing for their Airbuses surely is not based on preventing piracy, but to maximise sales numbers by reaching customers who wouldn't want to spend more money or also don't want to spend time to learn how to fly a study level aircraft. I for example liked it quite a lot that even when I started flying the AS busses I was able to got to bed after having already a long day in the office and where able to finish my flights successfully. Surely at the beginning totally relying on the FO's helpful hand. The last seven years have proven Aerosoft being on the totally right track with their approach. Other companies are doing things differently, but that shouldn't be the topic here. Also we shouldn't try to read something from posts which isn't in it. I for myself for example haven't read from tomtom_9's post that he is using pirated software. So, let's just close this pricing topic here. Aerosoft have explained their market and pricing approach many times here in the forums. Everyone being interested in more details will find the forum search to be a really helpful tool to find all those statements

    Hi, with the release of Prepar3Dv4 a lot changed regarding the activation of SODE inside Prepar3D v3 and v4, because SODE 1.5.x now works different.For FSX and P3Dv2 it is still the old technique! If you run Prepar3D v2, you can find the old guide here: If you are running FSX or FSX-SE, you will find the guide here: Make sure you have the newest scenery installers, that support SODE 1.3 and newer. With the switch from 1.2 to 1.3 the SODE structure was changed, and some functions don't work any longer with "old" addons (they had to be recompiled and rerelased by the developers). If your installer/addon does not support the new structure you have to migrate manually (how, is written in the Guide, see at the end). Important: Don't mix up C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\ C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\ You can choose the install folder for SODE during installation, so only C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\ can be different! You can also try to run the SODEPlatformManager.exe. Unregister and deactivate SODE then Register and activate it again. Maybe it helps. Ok, let’s start (only for Prepar3D v3 and v4!): With the change from 1.4.x to 1.5.x the dll.xml and exe.xml is no longer needed. 1. Install your addons 2. Install latest SODE (1.5.2) from http://sode.12bpilot.ch/ 3.     Please make sure to run the SODE installer as Administrator. When restarting P3D afterwards please start it as Administrator as well.

    Hello, Here's my virtual cockpit As you can see, rudder pedals, power lever, propeller lever and fuel lever, are built in the yoke (very economic version). But one day all levers will be located higher and attatched to the upper shelf. Guess why Also, charts and checklists are always at hand.

    Here's some new files that should solve the problem for now. Unzip it and replace the old files with the new ones. The use of metar visibility in the model placement has been removed, since it looks like that's the variable being changed by FSinn when the model disappear. Vaeroy FSinn fix.7z

    Hi Alaex, Deine GTX 1060 hat auch 3GB _mehr_ an Speicher. Der von myulu angegebene Speicher hat mich auch erst verwundert. Nur, es gibt tatsächlich unterschiedliche Grafikkarten unter der gleichen Typenbezeichnung 1060. Mit 6GB Speicher hätte ich die Karte unter "alles bestens" eingestuft, mit seinen 3GB war ich da vorsichtiger mit meiner Antwort. myulu sollte das Rückgabeangebot von LM in Anspruch nehmen und den neuen v4 unter die Lupe nehmen Bei Nichtgefallen kann er den FSX immer noch nehmen Ahoj -Uwe

Wenn Du nichts in die Hardware finanzieren möchtest, und lieber Freeware Dir zulegen möchtest, dann bleibt nur der FSX übrig. Traditionell wäre es der MS FSX mit dem sicherlich mehr an Freeware/Payware. Die Steam Edition, wenn man an die Zukunft von dieser Edition glaubt. (Das wird natürlich nur was, wenn die Umsatzzahlen bei Dovetail stimmen.) Ich wollte Dir auch nur zwei - von mehreren - Alternativen aufzeigen. Mehr nicht. Die Entscheidung liegt bei Dir Ahoj -Uwe PS. Dein Film bezieht sich auch auf eine mehrere Jahre alte Version des P3D. Solchen Filmen traue ich noch weniger als meinen eigenen frisierten Statistiken

    i think you have missunderstood that guy, hi is saying that people will crack the plane if they see a high price. he is not justifying people who stole all the work and effort and has no sense in my opinion to assume that if tom tom is concerned about piracy means that he is a rat bastard (c by Misterkok) its a huge problem to see how people feel the have the right to stole a digital product, because no consequences , because they can.. This is the most basic principle and germ of corruption) cheers

    Yes. I found this script here https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/54452-rebuild-font-cache-windows-10-a.html and it's working now!! I think the key must be FNTCACHE.DAT because I did all steps manually but didn't know about FNTCACHE.DAT. Now the font works even after reboot.

    Anchorage (PANC) is not "old", it is uptodate, but needs changes in some parts. It is on the update roadmap of Simwings, but not at the toplevel, so needs some weeks. Same as Fairbanks (PAFA)

    SIMstarter NG has been tested with P3Dv4 already. Some features can't be support until FSUIPC (and the FSUIPC Client DLL) is not 64 compatible. There will be an update soon after the official release. Yes and it will be free of charge for existing SIMstarter NG customers.

    Now it's getting dark around my paintshop. Soon I live in the catacombs of my house and feel like an "underground worker". With 3 girls and a woman I had to be in the "underground" for space reasons. So it is probably in Stuttgart, not just for the trainstation. My report will be continued when I get back to the daylight.

    ENGLISH: This is Hartenholm (EDHM). My "home airport". Version 1.4 with an FlyIn addon for X-Plane 10.51 and v. XP11-1.52 for X-Plane 11. I built it as a pure library based airfield with the World Editor (WED) V1.5/1.6.1 The buildings and objects are all used from different libraries and thus do not conform 100% reality. But all objects are in the right places and are as close to reality as possible with library objects. Furthermore, I have tried to give the airport a "real" look. Installation and infos: Please read the Hartenholm-readme.txt / Hartenholm-readme-xp11.txt (included in the zip download). Have fun with the airfield....     If you have used all the things provided in the first post correctly, you would be completely without problems. And if so, then you must be truly special case ;-) Also... we would be more than happy to have P3Dv4 installer, but that is only under condition that Aerosoft would bother make one. There is need for new installers way before v4 went out. But Aerosoft is either lazy or incompetent enough to do that :-) And that is a fact.

    Mal angenommen ich habe FTX Global udn REX 4 installiert macht es dann auch performance unterschiede? Dieses video find ich sehr gut um die beiden zu vergleichen und bei mir fällt FSX als sieger aus, ich mag einfach das hellere eher als das dunkle schema von P3D

    So, i should assume you already "cracked" PMDG aircrafts or Flight Sim labs ones ? good job you are doing, flight student. And if you are not ready to fairly buy these high tech softwares, go fishing maybe ? What is 48/50 euros compared with PMDG's 180 dollars ? But i will stop.
