Hello Honza,

what else Add Ons do you have installed? What other sceneries are currently active in your scenery library? What version of P3D do you have installed?

Have you read the manual coming with Heathrow Extended about memory optimization?

Here is another very good article explaining the memory usage & problems with FSX/P3D:

Well, if you have a 32bit Windows and only 4GB RAM installed then for sure you will run into problems and get those OOMs. 2 solutions:

  1. Upgrade to a 64bit OS and install at least 8GB RAM, so that P3D (as a 32bit application) can use 4GB
  2. lower your settings in P3D to avoid OOMs

Then please follow the second suggestion in Otto's list.

The "out of memory" issue is a well known problem in the FSX/P3D world. Both can't simply address more than 4 GB ad the higher your settings the faster this memory is consumed during a flight.

Just do a Google search for OOM and FSX or P3D and you will find tons of explanations and suggestions.

I would suggest to use a tool like the SIMstarter (http://aviation.pero-online.de/).

It makes it very easy to handle all of your add ons and get only those activated for a flight which are needed. All others stay deactivated and therefore don't affect the memory usage.
