Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted March 3, 2015 Aerosoft Share Posted March 3, 2015 If budget allows the only thing that might help a bit is to double the memory. But it will be marginal. I would pick the i5 and overclock it, much better value for money in FSX.

Hardy6 0
Everyone is running FSX onx86 side right? If not, could some one tellme how to run FSX in 64 bit.
PatrickZ 300
There's no "how to", it just runs. FSX is a 32-bit (x86) application indeed, but if you install it on a 64-bit Windows version you can just run it the way you're used to. There's no difference at all. However in terms of performance it certainly does make a difference. Therefor I would advise you to always run a 64-bit OS if you got the choice.
