alpha117 51 Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Morning all Planning a route EGCC > LEAL Using the 'normal' process and then validate gave me validation issues; no problem I thought. Started up SIMSRD and used from :EGCC to WP: SITET(which was on my route) SIMSRD gave me this string 'HON N859 SITET' Opened PFPX route editor and replaced the route with this one and then added 'AUTO' on the end as normal Hit build and no route generated after SITET so I now have HON N859 SITET then DCT LEAL Using version 1.13 Thanks Clive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bcars 23 Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 It appears that you must have a waypoint/navaid after the "AUTO" so it can calculate an intermediate routing. Since the route doesn't include the origin/destination airport in the actual route portion. this will also work for sid/star waypoints as well. route from klax to kpit: using a departure sid of gabre7 no arrival star I entered dag auto cutta star and it generated the proper route DAG J9 MISEN J100 LAS J146 DVC J197 GLD J192 PWE J64 FWA DCT BSV V40 CUTTA CUTTA2 it found CUTTA intersection and then found teh CUTTA2 arrival from there to KPIT. It also then updated the route properties for the TO airport (KPIT) and inserted the cutta2 star.... Seems to be working, just not AUTO to an airport.
