Demo error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I downloaded this demo with a view to buying the full program. When running the demo for the first time the game ran perfectly, however after exiting and then trying to run again, I get the following error shown in the attached picture. I downloaded the Net framework 4 from your link, but when I ran it only gave me the option to repair or uninstall. so I chose repair, after restarting I still get the same error with the following debug info.

I am using Win 7 64bit home edition.

regards Mark.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Are you running it form the zip file? You need to unzip it somewhere and check if you have two dlls next to the exe. Both responsible for multitouch support. And the error clearly states that you don't have them next to the exe xD

And from what I see from the screenshot you have Aircraft, Airline etc folder missing as well... You definitely need to unzip it again to a separate folder, not to desktop. ;)

Hi Robert, thanks for the quick resonse.

I just realised that I must have clicked paste instead of paste shortcut to the exe file on the desktop.

Many thanks for creating such a great program.

Mark
